    摘要: A duplex plug adapter module includes a dielectric housing having a forward end and a rearward wire receiving end. The housing is configured to be mechanically coupled to first and second signal cables. A contact is held within the housing. The contact has a forward mating end and a rearward wire terminating end. The housing includes a passageway that is configured to receive a sensor probe that is shared by the first and second signal cables. The contact is configured to interconnect the sensor probe and a sensor wire.

    摘要: An electrical connector adaptor for use with cable assemblies has been provided. The adapter comprises first and second contact sets and a housing. The housing has a first mating face configured to join with a mating connector and a second mating face configured to join with a cable assembly. The first and second mating faces retain the first and second contact sets in different first and second patterns, respectively. A strain relief is formed extending from the housing. The strain relief projects beyond the second mating face and is positioned such that the cable assembly rests against the strain relief when the cable assembly is joined to the second mating face. Optionally, a securing member is configured to secure the cable assembly to the strain relief.

The contact sub-assembly includes a base having a base surface, and an array of contacts that extend along the base surface of the base. Each contact extends along a length from a terminating end to a tip end. Each contact has a mating interface located along the length of the contact between the terminating end and the tip end. The contact sub-assembly also includes a spacing member formed separately from the base. The spacing member engages at least some of the contacts for positioning the contacts relative to each other within the array. The spacing member includes first and second spacing segments that are discrete from each other and that are configured to move relative to each other.

    摘要: A contact sub-assembly is provided for an electrical connector. The contact sub-assembly includes a base and an array of contacts held by the base. Each contact extends along a length from a terminating end portion to a tip end portion. The tip end portion includes a tip surface. Each contact has a mating interface located along the length of the contact between the terminating end portion and the tip end portion. The contact sub-assembly also includes a spacing member formed separately from the base. The spacing member engages each of the contacts such that each contact is positioned relative to each adjacent contact in the array. At least a portion of the spacing member engaging each contact at a location along the length of the contact that is between the mating interface and the tip surface.

    摘要: An electrical connector including an array of conductors having at least one differential pair of conductors that extends between a mating end and a loading end of a housing. The conductors are configured to engage a selected mating contact of a mating connector at a mating interface. The electrical connector also includes a plurality of traces that extend between the mating and loading ends. Each trace is electrically connected to a corresponding conductor proximate to the mating end and/or the loading end. Also, the electrical connector includes a first interconnection, path formed by the conductors that extends from the mating interface to the loading end and a second interconnection path formed by the traces that extends from the mating interface to the loading end. The differential pair transmits current that is split, between the first and second interconnection paths where at least one interconnection path provides compensation.

The terminal block includes a terminal base portion that has a mounting side configured to be mounted to a surface of an electrical component. The base portion has contact slots that extend from the mounting side therethrough. The contact slots are configured to receive terminal contacts that are electrically coupled to the electrical component. The terminal block also includes an organizer portion that extends from the base portion and includes channels that extend substantially parallel to the surface of the electrical component. The channels are configured to receive corresponding conductors. The contact slots of the base portion align with corresponding channels of the organizer portion so that the terminal contacts electrically couple the conductors.

At least one of the traces includes a compensation loop arranged on the first trace plane, and at least one of the traces includes a compensation loop arranged on the second trace plane. The compensation loop provides at least one of electrical and thermal compensation.
