摘要: A fiber optic connector along with a tool allows for the changing of the polarity of the fiber optic connector. Keys may be installed in both the top and the bottom of the fiber optic connector, one in a first position and the other in a second position. Using the tool in one back-and-forth motion, the polarity of the fiber optic connector can be changed. The keys have a configuration that resist an incorrect insertion and provide better retention of the keys in the correct configuration due to a better retention force.

摘要: Systems and methods of using a multiport assembly and associated components are disclosed. The multiport assembly can include a multiport device that communicatively couples multiple sets or pairs of connectors, such as optical connectors or electrical connectors, together. The multiport assembly can also include an auxiliary port device that couples to the multiport device to expand the capacity of the multiport assembly. Both the multiport and auxiliary port devices can be selectively configured to receive specific types of connectors by selectively coupling to different types of adapters, where the types of adapters correspond to the types of connectors. When coupled to the multiport or auxiliary port devices, the adapters facilitate the formation of the communication between its corresponding set of connectors.

摘要: Systems and methods of using a multiport assembly and associated components are disclosed. The multiport assembly can include a multiport device that communicatively couples multiple sets or pairs of connectors, such as optical connectors or electrical connectors, together. 摘要: An optical fibre connector dust cap made of transparent material and suitable to be fitted in a port of an optical fibre adapter, and an indicator lamp provided at a port of the optical fibre adapter. A reflective surface is provided inside the dust cap, and an optical fibre connector is inserted into another port of the optical fibre adapter. A light emitted from the indicator lamp hits one side of the reflective surface, and is then reflected towards the external end section of the dust cap by the reflective surface, and is output from the external end section of the dust cap. Allowing an operator to clearly see the operational status of the indicator lamp on the optical fibre adapter, at the external end section of the dust cap. Meanwhile, the laser emitted by the optical fibre of the fibre jumper optical fibre connector hits the other side of the reflective surface, and is then reflected towards the side section of the dust cap by the reflective surface, and is output from the side section of the optical fibre adapter, instead of being output from the external end section of the dust cap. As a result of this, operator eye injuries due to laser output from fibre jumpers are effectively prevented.
