    Abstract: A method of performing magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) includes transmitting a multi-slice excitation pulse through tissue, the multi-slice excitation pulse configured to generate multi-slice MRSI signals. The method also includes performing density weighted concentric ring acquisition on the multi-slice MRSI signals. The method further includes receiving the generated multi-slice MRSI signals in a plurality of sensors disposed in various locations around the tissue. Imaging data is reconstructed based on the acquired imaging signals. A representation of the data is displayed.

The method includes transmitting a multi-slice excitation pulse through tissue, the multi-slice excitation pulse configured to generate multi-slice MRSI signals. The method also includes performing density weighted concentric ring acquisition on the multi-slice MRSI signals. The method further includes receiving the generated multi-slice MRSI signals in a plurality of sensors disposed in various locations around the tissue. Imaging data is reconstructed based on the acquired imaging signals. A representation of the data is displayed.
