    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) using a first radio access technology (RAT) may transmit a channel reservation preamble of a second RAT (e.g., a Wi-Fi preamble) that provides an indication to devices of the second RAT that the UE has obtained a shared channel for a channel occupancy time (COT). The UE may determine a start time of the channel reservation preamble relative to a start time of a first symbol of a transmission slot based at least in part on a time duration of the first symbol. The channel reservation preamble may reserve multiple slots or a single slot. A UE transmitting on two or more sub-channels may transmit a preamble on one of the sub-channels or on each of the sub-channels.

    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for concurrent wireless communication and object sensing. In an example aspect, the apparatus includes one or more antennas and a wireless transceiver coupled to the one or more antennas. The wireless transceiver is configured to transmit, via the one or more antennas, a communication and sensing signal during a given uplink time slot. The communication and sensing signal comprises an uplink signal associated with the given uplink time slot and a radar signal. The radar signal temporally overlaps at least a portion of the uplink signal.

    Abstract: A wireless device may identify a first subband in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band used to communicate control traffic. The wireless device may identify a second subband in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band used to communicate data traffic. The first subband and the second subband may be different. The wireless device may reserve the first subband for a first duration of time for a plurality of wireless devices. The reservation may be based at least in part on an enhanced self-clear-to-send (self-CTS) transmitted over the first subband.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may belong to a group of UEs that includes at least a second UE and a third UE. The first UE may perform a channel access procedure and, when the channel access procedure is successful, may transmit a first positioning reference signal (PRS) over a sidelink communication link to the second and third UEs. The first UE may transmit the first PRS during a first time interval of a transmission window. Based on receiving the first PRS, the second UE may perform a channel access procedure and may transmit a second PRS to the first UE during a second time interval of the transmission window. The second PRS may be multiplexed (e.g., using frequency division multiplexing (FDM) or code division multiplexing (CDM)) with at least a third PRS transmitted by the third UE.
