Abstract: Methods and apparatus for performing a search procedure include determining, by a processor, that a current location identifier of a current network is the same as a stored location identifier corresponding to a transition to or from a home network. The methods and apparatus further include initiating the search procedure based on determining that the current location identifier is the same as the stored location identifier.
