Abstract: Embodiments include methods performed by a user equipment for efficient management of network resources and power consumption when using a dual channel capability. The process may include determining a maximum throughput based on connection parameters of the user equipment, receiving an indication of a change in a form factor of the user equipment, detecting an actual throughput of the user equipment within a given time window, and determining whether to enable or disable dual connect for the user equipment based on a comparison of the actual throughput with the maximum throughput. The comparisons of the actual throughput with the maximum throughput may include one or more thresholds that are set relative to the actual and maximum throughputs.

Abstract: Innovative techniques and apparatuses to control metaverse presentation are disclosed. The proposed techniques and apparatuses allow prevention of overindulgence to metaverse presentation based on user biometrics (e.g., oxygen saturation, heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure, etc.). If the biometrics indicate that the user's health is compromised due to the metaverse presentation, the metaverse presentation (visual, audio, haptic outputs) may be altered to reduce the user's overindulgence.
