    Abstract: A fan module holder for holding a fan module generating air flow is disclosed. The holder includes a base, a first wall and a second wall, and a plurality of hooks. The first wall and the second wall extend from opposite ends of the base. The plurality of hooks extends from a top section of the first wall and the second wall and is configured to secure a cooling system. A plurality of apertures is formed as a vent in the first wall. Each of the plurality of hooks includes a protrusion extending therefrom. The second wall includes a cutout. The fan module abuts the base, the first wall, and the second wall of the holder when the holder is in an installed position. The base is generally rectangular and includes a plurality of cylinders.

    Abstract: A lock mechanism for securing an expansion card in a computer chassis includes an elongated structural support, a wedge, and a channel structure. The elongate structural support comprising a first and second arm extending obliquely away from each other from a central pivot point positioned between a first and second end of the elongate structural support. The wedge protrudes upwardly from the first arm at the first end of the elongated structural support. The wedge is configured to engage with a riser card component of a riser module including the expansion card and cause a rotation of the elongated structural support about the central pivot point from an unlocked to a locked position. The channel structure extends from the second arm at the second end of the elongated structural support. The channel structure is configured to secure the expansion card with the elongated structural support positioned in the locked position.

    Abstract: An M.2 fastening system has an M.2 riser card with two module-receiving sides and a plurality of adjustment positions. The M.2 fastening system further has a pair of M.2 fasteners mounted respectively on the module-receiving sides. Each M.2 fastener has a main body defined by a top surface and a bottom surface; a module attachment extending from the top surface; and a hook extending from the bottom surface along a lateral side of the main body. The hook of one of the M.2 fasteners is received through an attachment aperture of an adjustment position. The hook is pressed-fit over the top surface of the main body of another M.2 fastener. The hook secures the M.2 riser card between the pair of M.2 fasteners in a tool-less manner.

    Abstract: A flexible modularized system is configured to support graphics processing unit (GPU) cards of different dimensions. The system includes a riser bracket with attachment features for being coupled to a printed circuit board (PCB). The system further includes a fixing plate that is coupled to the riser bracket and which includes a plurality of adjustable holes. The system also includes a moving plate that is adjustably coupled to the fixing plate. The moving plate is movable between a plurality of positions. The moving plate has a first end that includes at least one latch, which engages the first adjustable hole in a first position and the second adjustable hole in a second position. The moving plate has a second end that is configured to secure in place one of the GPU cards relative to the PCB.

    Abstract: A fan assembly includes a socket to receive a fan module, a fan flap coupled to a first side wall of the socket, and an anti-reflow device coupled to a second side wall of the socket. The fan flap moves in a curved path between a first position and a second position. The anti-reflow device has an attachment feature, an embossed feature, and a stopping feature. The attachment feature attaches the anti-reflow device to the second side wall. The embossed feature extends through a first aperture in the second side wall. The stopping feature extends through a second aperture in the second side wall and contacts the fan flap. When the fan module is removed, the stopping feature retains the fan flap in the first position to block the socket and prevent air from reflowing through the socket.
