    Abstract: A regulating device includes a voltage regulator configured to receive an input voltage and regulate an amplitude and a frequency of the input voltage to generate an electrical signal acting on the electric control functional layer; and a controller coupled to the voltage regulator and configured to receive a regulating signal, and to send a control signal to the voltage regulator according to the regulating signal to regulate the amplitude and the frequency of the input voltage, the control signal including an amplitude parameter and a frequency parameter of the voltage. Finer regulation of the optical characteristics of the electric control functional layer can be realized by introducing frequency regulation. Such finer regulation can bring about a more comfortable experience to human senses. At the same time, the realization of such fine regulation enables more diversified control of the electronic control function layer.

    Abstract: An anti-collision warning system for a vehicle door includes a sensing module, a detection module, and a warning module. The sensing module is configured to sense whether a passenger has an intention to open a vehicle door and output a sensing result. The control module is coupled to the sensing module, the detection module and warning module, and the control module is configured to control the warning module to issue an alert based on information on traffic conditions from the detection module in response to the sensing result being YES. The anti-collision warning system can issue an alert to the passenger in a timely and effective manner when it senses that the passenger has the intention to open the vehicle door. Therefore, the passenger would be alerted and determine whether it is an appropriate time to open the vehicle door, thus preventing the vehicle door from colliding with an object.

    Abstract: A glass structure includes a glass body; a modulating unit coupled to the glass body to modulate optical characteristics of the glass structure; an interaction unit coupled to the glass body to provide an adjusting signal indicating an execution of adjusting the optical characteristics of the glass structure; and a control unit coupled to the modulating unit and the interaction unit respectively, the control unit being configured to receive the adjusting signal from the interaction unit and to control the modulating unit to modulate the optical characteristics of a target region of the glass structure in response to the adjusting signal. The interaction unit and the modulating unit are isolated from each other by a filling material having a transmittance equal to or greater than about 50%, a relative permittivity equal to or less than about 10, and a thickness equal to or greater than about 50 μm.

    Abstract: An encapsulation assembly includes a body located at edges of the functional glass; and a conductive module embedded in the body or located on a surface of the body, and electrically connected to a functional module on the functional glass. The process of forming an encapsulated glass from the encapsulation assembly for a functional glass can omit complicated manufacturing steps and save materials and thus reduce costs. An easy and stable control of the functional module in the glass can also be accomplished. Moreover, it is much easier to form an encapsulated glass from the glass, which facilitates glass mounting.

    Abstract: A glass with a function of regulation in sections includes a glass body and a conductive component. The glass body includes a glass substrate and a functional component attached to the glass substrate and divided into sections capable of being individually regulated. The conductive component is coupled to each section of the functional component. The conductive component includes a flexible printed circuit and a conductive adhesive. The flexible printed circuit includes a conductive trace electrically connected to each section of the functional component via the conductive adhesive to allow an individual regulation of each section of the functional component. The glass with a function of regulation in sections is capable of regulating a function of a target section of the functional component according to a user's instruction and an environmental parameter.
