    Abstract: A spacer for a multiple-pane insulating glazing unit, at least having a composite composed of a glass-fiber-reinforced, polymeric main body having two pane contact surfaces, which extend parallel to one another, an adhesive surface, a glazing interior surface, and an insulation film on the adhesive surface or the adhesive surface and the connecting surfaces, where the insulation film has at least one polymeric film having a thickness of 10 μm to 100 μm, at least one polymeric layer having a thickness of 5 μm to 80 μm and also a metal layer having a thickness of 10 nm to 1500 nm or a ceramic layer having a thickness of 10 nm to 1500 nm.

    Abstract: An insulating glazing includes a first a second pane, a spacer between the first and second pane that is fixedly connected to the first and second pane in a water-vapor-tight manner in each case, which spacer has two parallel pane contact walls, an outer wall, and a glazing interior wall and an interior, and a water-tight sealant strip running around the outer wall between the first and second pane. A pressure-equalizing element is inserted into the sealant strip and the spacer, which pressure-equalizing element is open to the surrounding atmosphere and to the interior of the spacer or to the glazing interior between the first and the second pane and is implemented such that it provides a gas connection having a pressure-equalizing function between the atmosphere and the interior of the spacer or the glazing interior which gas connection is temporally limited due to aging and/or atmospheric influences.

    Abstract: An insulating glass unit suitable for a refrigeration unit is presented. The insulating glass unit includes a first pane, a second pane spaced at a distance from the first pane, a peripheral spacer frame between the first pane and the second pane, and an inner interpane space. According to one aspect, the spacer frame includes four hollow-profile polymeric spacers, which are secured between the first pane and the second pane along one of the four sides of the insulating glass. According to another aspect, the two first hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing first sides of the insulating glass unit and the two second hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing second sides of the insulating glass unit. According to yet another aspect, the first polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 5% to 50% and the second polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 0% to 0.5% reinforcement fibers.

The spacer having a plastic profile with a first glazing interior surface and a second glazing interior surface, a first pane contact surface, a second pane contact surface, a primary sealing means, and a main member containing a sealing material and a drying material. The plastic profile includes a groove, into which the third pane is inserted and which runs parallel to the first pane contact surface and to the second pane contact surface. The plastic profile separates the outer pane interspace from the inner pane interspace. The main member is arranged in the outer pane interspace between the plastic profile and the primary sealing means, the main member being adjacent the plastic profile and the primary sealing means.

    Abstract: An insulating glazing is described, including a first pane, a second pane, and a circumferential spacer between the first and second panes. The spacer includes a hollow main body, two parallel pane contact walls, an outer wall, a glazing interior wall and a bore opening through the outer wall. The glazing further includes a hollow pressure-equalizing body, having a surrounding outer wall and a gas-permeable and vapor-diffusion-tight membrane fastened inside the outer wall. The pressure-equalizing body and a sealing compound are arranged in an outer pane intermediate space between the first pane and the second pane. The pressure-equalizing body is connected to the spacer through the bore opening, wherein a sealing material is arranged between the bore opening and the outer wall of the pressure-equalizing body. The hollow main body of the spacer contains a desiccant and at least one partition wall.
