Abstract:
An inkjet printing apparatus for printing an image on an absorbent substrate includes a print head unit and a dust removal device. The absorbent substrate includes a print side and an opposite side and is conveyed between the print-head unit and the dust removal device. The print head unit defines a print zone on the print side. The dust removal device includes a pumping chamber formed of a pre-pumping sub-chamber, a print zone sub-chamber, and a post-pumping sub-chamber, said chambers being positioned at the opposite side. The pre-pumping sub-chamber is positioned substantially upstream from the print zone. The print zone sub-chamber is positioned substantially at the print zone. The post-pumping sub-chamber is positioned downstream from the print zone. A second pressure in the print zone sub-chamber is higher than a first pressure in the pre-pumping sub-chamber and a third pressure in the post-pumping sub-chamber so as to create a suction impact to dust particles generated by the conveyed absorbent substrate.
Abstract:
A dispenser for dispensing a selectable quantity of absorbent sheet products is provided. The dispenser includes a container for containing a stack of absorbent sheet products, and an opening through which at least one absorbent sheet product is graspable. The opening includes a main portion in a first side of the container and at least one additional portion extending the main portion towards a second side of the container such that the, at least one, additional portion extends above and transversally relatively to the stack of absorbent sheet products contained in the container. The, at least one, additional portion defines multiple exposing zones along an axis (x) from one end of the main portion towards another end of the main portion. Each additional portion has a length from the axis (x) being associated with a maximum amount of absorbent sheet products graspable at the same time in a single seizure by a user.
Abstract:
The invention proposes an embossed sheet (10) comprising at least one ply (12) of tissue having an embossing pattern comprising at least one series of protuberances (18) formed projecting from one surface of the said ply (12) of tissue, and at least one ply joined to the said at least one ply (12) of tissue and located opposite the said surface of the ply (14) of water-soluble material, characterized in that the ply (14) of water-soluble material is joined to the said at least one ply (12) of tissue at the summits (18a) of at least part of the protuberances (18). The invention also proposes a method for manufacturing such a multi-ply sheet (10).
Abstract:
A stack of interfolded absorbent sheet products includes a plurality of a first group of absorbent sheet products folded according to a first type of folding wherein at least two panels are created by one folding line, and a plurality of a second group of absorbent sheet products folded according to a second type of folding wherein at least two other panels are created by at least one other folding line. The plurality of the first and second groups are orientated side by side in opposition relative to each other, the plurality of the first and second groups being interfolded into each other so that the panels of two groups positioned adjacent relative to each other overlap. Each group of absorbent sheet products includes a certain amount, at least two, of uncoupled absorbent sheet products so as to dispense the certain amount of absorbent sheet products with one grasping movement of the group.
Abstract:
A stack of folded absorbent sheet products includes a first absorbent sheet product folded according to a first type of folding, the first absorbent sheet product includes at least one fold wherein at least a first panel is coupled to at least a second panel through a folding line. Each first absorbent sheet product encloses as a whole a certain amount of a second absorbent sheet product between said at least first panel and second panel, the second absorbent sheet product being folded according to a second type of folding. The certain amount of the second absorbent sheet product is formed as a sub-stack that nests within the first absorbent sheet product so as to distribute the certain amount of absorbent sheet product with one grasping movement of the first absorbent sheet product.
