    Abstract: A touch sensor includes a plurality of parallel transmitting lines extending in a first direction, a plurality of parallel receiving lines extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, and a transmitting driver configured to, in a first mode, apply first driving signals of a first voltage, to the plurality of transmitting lines, and in a second mode, apply second driving signals of a second voltage, to the plurality of transmitting lines, the second voltage being different than the first voltage. The touch sensor further includes a signal output unit configured to receive touch signals from the plurality of receiving lines.

    Abstract: A fingerprint recognizable touch screen apparatus, an operating method thereof, and an electronic apparatus including the touch screen apparatus are provided. The fingerprint recognizable touch screen apparatus may include a touch sensor for sensing a touch of a user and a fingerprint sensor for recognizing a fingerprint of the user. The fingerprint sensor may include a fingerprint sensing region, a trace region extending from the fingerprint sensing region, and at least one shield-touch sensing multiple-use region provided in the trace region. The shield-touch sensing multiple-use region may be configured to serve as an electric shield in a fingerprint recognition mode and as a touch sensing region in a touch sense mode. The fingerprint sensor may further include at least one shield region provided in the trace region.

    Abstract: Provided are touch-fingerprint complex sensors, operating methods thereof, and electronic apparatuses including the touch-fingerprint complex sensors. A touch-fingerprint complex sensor may include a plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction in a touch pad, and a plurality of second electrodes extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction.     Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel configured to display an image, first electrodes provided on the display panel and arranged in parallel in a direction, second electrodes provided on the display panel and arranged in parallel in a direction crossing the first electrodes, an insulating layer provided between the first electrodes and the second electrodes, a controller configured to transmit driving signals to the first electrodes, and receive electrical signals from the second electrodes, touch detection areas and fingerprint-touch detection areas in which the first electrodes cross the second electrodes, and a protection film provided on the first electrodes and the second electrodes. The touch detection areas are arranged in a matrix of M rows and N columns, the fingerprint-touch detection areas are disposed at positions in the matrix, and each of the fingerprint-touch detection areas includes fingerprint detection pixels.
