Abstract: A neuron device is described. The neuron device is based on spontaneous polarization switching which includes a plurality of gate electrodes, a plurality of drain electrodes, a plurality of source lines, a dielectric layer, and a semiconductor layer. The gate electrodes are arranged parallel to each other. The drain electrodes are arranged parallel to each other. The source lines are arranged between the gate electrodes and the drain electrodes and parallel to each other. The dielectric layer is formed at intersections between the gate electrodes and the source lines. The semiconductor layer is formed at intersections between the drain electrodes and the source electrodes. The drain electrodes function as synapse-after-neuron linking terminals. The gate electrodes adjust an arrangement direction of electrical dipoles of the dielectric layer to control a firing time point and a firing height of the neuron device.

Abstract: An electronic device includes: a storage device including multiple segments configured to store data; a buffer memory configured to store segment attributes corresponding to the multiple segments, respectively; and one processor electrically connected to the storage device and the buffer memory. The one processor is configured to: determine, based on two or more parameters related to a data requested to be written, a data attribute; store the data requested to be written in a segment of the multiple segments, the segment being corresponding to the data attribute among the multiple segments; store a segment attribute of the segment, which is determined based on the data attribute in the buffer memory; update the data attribute, based on a data modification time of the data requested to be written; and update the segment attribute, based on the updated data attribute.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a processor, a first volatile memory, and a storage including a nonvolatile memory and a second volatile memory. The processor may be configured to: identify information of a specific file and a kind of a request for data included in the specific file in response to a creation of the request for the data, set a flag in the request based on the identified information of the specific file, identify whether mapping information of a specific region including a logical address of the data among mapping information in which logical addresses and physical addresses for the nonvolatile memory are mapped onto each other is stored in the first volatile memory, determine whether to manage the mapping information of the specific region using the first volatile memory, and determine whether to update the mapping information of the specific region in the first volatile memory.
