Abstract:
Provided is a method by a user equipment (UE) for providing a sponsoring service in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: determining at least one UE to be provided with the sponsoring service, accessing to a server providing the sponsoring service, and registering to the server providing the sponsoring service; and transmitting a request of the sponsoring service comprising identification information of the at least one UE, to the server providing the sponsoring service.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for web-based real-time communication. The method includes receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a message requesting information about an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network to which the user equipment (UE) is to access; transmitting, to the UE, address information of the IMS network to which the UE is to access, in response to the received message; and transmitting, to a network device of the IMS network, information about the UE to request establishment of a bearer for a web-based real-time data service. A signaling message for the web-based real-time data service is transmitted between the UE and the IMS network through the bearer.
Abstract:
The time required to set up a voice call in an exemplary embodiment, in which Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB) is used, is reduced to provide a voice call service to a User Equipment (UE) in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. If a voice call occurs in a UE while the UE accesses the LTE system, the UE using CSFB switches to a 2G/3G legacy system, recycles system information for a 2G/3G cell that the UE has accessed before, and immediately proceeds with voice call setup without receiving system information unnecessary for a CSFB process.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for web-based real-time communication by a user equipment (UE), including transmitting, to a web server, a message requesting information about an Internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network to which the UE is to access, receiving, from the web server, address information of the IMS network to which the UE is to access, in response to the transmitted message, when receiving, from the web server, an instruction to hold establishment of a bearer for a web-based real-time data service, restricting transmission of a signaling message for the web-based real-time data service until the bearer is established, and when sensing establishment of the bearer, transmitting, to an access point of the IMS network, at least one subsequent signaling message for the web-based real-time data service through the bearer.
Abstract:
A method for receiving a service by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes transmitting an attach request message to a network, upon detection of entry into an area of a non-legacy mobile communication system, receiving an attach accept message from the network including information indicating whether the network supports VoIP or CSFB and receiving voice service by the VoIP or the CSFB through the non-legacy mobile communication system if the information included in the attach accept message indicates that the network supports the VoIP or the CSFB.

Abstract:
Disclosed are: a communication technique for fusing, with IoT technology, a 5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4 G system and subsequent systems; and a system thereof. The present disclosure can be applied to an intelligent service (for example, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service and the like) based on 5G communication technology and IoT related technology. The present disclosure presents a method by which a base station determines the approximate location of a terminal on the basis of a reception power report, and sets a codebook subset on the basis of the approximate location of the terminal so as to reduce a channel state report burden.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for providing an emergency call in a mobile communication system are provided. In the method, a User Equipment (UE) transmits, to a Proxy-Call Session Control Function (P-CSCF) entity, a first message including first information indicating that the UE requests an emergency call and receives, from the P-CSCF entity a second message including second information indicating whether a serving Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) supports a Non Voice Emergency Service (NOVES), and indicating a media type which the serving PLMN supports.
