Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for dormant mode operation in a user equipment. During dormant mode, data transmission between the user equipment and network is suspended. For dormant mode operation, the user equipment determines whether to enter dormant mode, and sends, upon determining to enter dormant mode, a dormant mode entry message containing dormant mode time information to the network.
Abstract:
A core network node and method for use in a wireless system are provided. The method includes transmitting, by a core network node, one or more service data unit (SDUs) to a base station; and transmitting, by the core network node, a control message including respective length information of the one or more SDUs to the base station. The length information included in the control message is used by the base station for processing the one or more SDUs, and the control message is transmitted after the one or more SDUs are transmitted.
Abstract:
A base station and method for use in a wireless system are provided. The method includes receiving, by a base station, one or more service data unit (SDUs) from a core network node; receiving, by the base station, a control message including respective length information of the one or more SDUs from the core network node; and processing, by the base station, the one or more SDUs, based on the length information included in the control message. The control message is transmitted after the one or more SDUs are transmitted from the core network node.
Abstract:
A base station and method are provided for transmitting data of a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) by the base station in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving one or more service data units (SDUs) from a core network node; receiving a control message including respective length information of the SDUs transmitted from the core network node; identifying one or more subframes impacted by a loss of two or more consecutive SDUs based on the length information if the two or more consecutive SDUs are not received; and muting the identified one or more subframes impacted by the loss of the two or more consecutive SDUs.
Abstract:
An electronic device comprising a nonvolatile memory, a memory controller configured to control the nonvolatile memory, and a host connected to the memory controller. In response to a first write signal received from the host, the memory controller is configured to provide the first write signal to the nonvolatile memory, the nonvolatile memory is configured to perform a write operation based on the provided first write signal, generate first metadata based on a result of performing the write operation, and provide the generated first metadata to the host. The host is configured to determine whether to perform garbage collection for the nonvolatile memory using a neural network model trained based on the provided first metadata or the first write signal, provide a garbage collection request signal to the memory controller in response to determining to perform garbage collection.
