Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided to generate a preamble signal. A peak of each pulse of the preamble signal is synchronized with a sensitivity region of a super regenerative receiver (SRR). The method and apparatus are configured to transmit, to the SRR, a data packet comprising the preamble signal, wherein the data packet is a baseband signal corresponding to the preamble signal.
