摘要: To make the fitting of a pair of connectors smooth and keep an insulation distance between a terminal and a metal shell large and thus improve the fitting characteristics and the reliability of a shielded connector, a rib projects over the end surface of one of a male or a female connector so that the rib lies between a metal shell projecting over the end of the male connector and a male terminal projecting over the end surface. A groove corresponds to the rib and is formed in the top end surface of the other of the male and female connectors.

摘要: A connecting structure for interengaging metallic shielding members is provided, which includes: a contacting elongation (2) at a leading edge of a cylindrical male metallic shielding member (1); a mating contacting elongation (4) at a leading edge of a cylindrical female metallic shielding member (3) which is brought into contact with the male member contacting elongation at the leading edge of the cylindrical male metallic shielding member; and a pair of engaging hook pieces (5) formed to extend circumferentially on the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members to engage with the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member, wherein the pair of engaging hook pieces are formed at both sides of a slit (6) provided between the adjacent contacting elongations. The contacting elongation of either of the metallic shielding members is urged toward and into tighter contact with the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member by a pressing spring portion (23) provided on a housing (17′) of a connector (19).

摘要: A shielded connector which can reduce production costs and prevent displacement of a shield wire is provided. The corrugated holder of the shielded connector is made up of a pair of half covers 36. Each half cover is provided with an outer cover and an inner cover. A case insertion chamber for a wire attachment case is formed between the outer cover and the inner cover. A wire stopper for the shield wire is formed at one end of the inner surface of the inner cover. A plurality of tube insertion grooves for a corrugated tube are formed at the other end of the inner surface of the inner cover. The outer cover is provided with a cover securing portion corresponding to the outer wall of the wire attachment case. The sheath of the shield wire is provided with a sheath holding ring for radially compressing the sheath.

摘要: A connecting structure of a metallic shielding member is provided with each of contacting elongations in the leading edge direction of male or female metallic shielding member in which a pair of engaging hook pieces to engage with the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members are formed at the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member. The pair of engaging hook pieces are formed at both sides of the slit provided between the adjacent contacting elongations. The other connecting structure of a metallic shielding member in which each of the contacting elongations of both metallic shielding members equipped with male and female connectors is brought into contact with each other, a pressing spring is provided for energizing the contacting elongation of one of the metallic shielding members toward the contacting elongation of the other metallic shielding member at least in the connector housing on one side. Furthermore, there are provided a contacting projection for both contacting elongations and an enlarged diameter portion for the contacting projection.

摘要: A shield wire, having a shield mesh whose front end portion is folded back, is inserted into a shield contact member from a rear side thereof, so that the shield mesh is fitted in a wire fixing portion, and is fixed thereto at a spiral groove portion. Then, a terminal is fixedly secured to a front end of the shield wire, and the terminal is inserted into an electrically-conductive, hollow cylindrical shell, mounted within a housing, through an open, exposed rear end of the shell, so that a shell contact portion of the shield contact member is held against the rear end, and in this condition the shield wire is fixed to the housing.

摘要: A shielded cable (1) includes a conductor (2), an inner insulating sheath (3) covering the conductor (2), a braid (4) provided around the inner insulating sheath (3), and an outer insulating sheath (5) covering the braid (4). An end portion of the outer insulating sheath (5) and an exposed portion of the braid (4), disposed adjacent to the end portion of the outer insulating sheath (5), are covered with an annular shield stopper (11) in such a manner that the shield stopper extends over the outer insulating sheath and the braid. An annular pressing portion (19) of a shield terminal (12) is inserted between the braid (4) and the inner insulating sheath (3). The shield stopper (11) is pressed, thereby simultaneously forming a first pressed portion (28) and a second pressed portion (29) at the shield stopper, the first pressed portion being pressed into the outer insulating sheath (5) while the second pressed portion is pressed into the braid (4).

摘要: The feeder connector is designed to prevent incomplete engagement of the feeding and receiving side connectors and to facilitate connection work when charging an electric car. The feeder connector comprises a feeding side connector A on the power supply apparatus side and a receiving side connector B on the car body side. The feeding side connector A has a connector body 1, a protective case 2 and a lock lever 12. The protective case 2 consists of a main case 2A made up of a cylinder portion 3, a half-cylinder portion 4 and a trough portion 5, all formed integral, and a subcase 2B. The connector body 1 is formed integral with the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A through a flange 19 formed along the periphery of the body. An opening 11 is formed ranging from the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A to the subcase 2B. In this opening 11, a lock lever 12 for the receiving side connector B is rotatably provided.
