    摘要: The feeder connector is designed to prevent incomplete engagement of the feeding and receiving side connectors and to facilitate connection work when charging an electric car. The feeder connector comprises a feeding side connector A on the power supply apparatus side and a receiving side connector B on the car body side. The feeding side connector A has a connector body 1, a protective case 2 and a lock lever 12. The protective case 2 consists of a main case 2A made up of a cylinder portion 3, a half-cylinder portion 4 and a trough portion 5, all formed integral, and a subcase 2B. The connector body 1 is formed integral with the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A through a flange 19 formed along the periphery of the body. An opening 11 is formed ranging from the cylinder portion 3 of the main case 2A to the subcase 2B. In this opening 11, a lock lever 12 for the receiving side connector B is rotatably provided.

    摘要: To inspect the coupling condition of two matable connector housings, one of the connector housings is formed with a guide recessed portion on an upper surface thereof so as to be fittable to the lower end surface of an image tube, an aperture at the center of the guide recessed portion through which connector housing coupling condition can be seen, and at least one groove indicative of the connector model code; an image tube is lowered so that the lower end portion of the image tube is brought into contact with the guide recessed portion to take an image; the detected image is compared with reference patterns to check whether the connector housings are coupled normally; an alarm is generated if abnormal; and the total number of normally coupled connectors can be displayed for each connector model code.

    摘要: The present invention provides an electrical connector used for charging an automobile in which an incomplete connection between a feeding connector half and a receiving connector half is prevented and the work of connecting both connector halves can be easily carried out with a small insertion force. The feeding connector according to the present invention includes a feeding connector half and a receiving connector half, wherein the feeding connector half includes: a case; a connector main body slidably accommodated in a front half portion of the case for accommodating a plurality of terminals; a handle attached to a rear half portion of the case; a slider for causing the connector main body to slide; a member for positioning the feeding connector half with respect to the receiving connector half and for preliminarily locking the feeding connector half to the receiving connector half; a lever means for routing to complete lock the feeding connector half to the receiving connector half, the lever means having an intermediate portion between a working portion and an operating portion, the working portion rotatably attached to the handle and the operating portion projecting out of the case; and a means for locking and unlocking the lever at in its rotated position to completely lock the connector main body of the feeding connector half to a connector main body of the receiving connector half.

    摘要: A spring-incorporated flat type terminal structure which can be manufactured efficiently and which requires only a small space for engagement or disengagement of the male and female parts of the terminals of the connector. A flat type female terminal of electrically conductive material has a terminal engaging section and a wire connecting section. The terminal engaging section is substantially in the form of a rectangular box and has a terminal accommodating chamber with a terminal inserting inlet opened in one side. The terminal inserting inlet has four locking grooves at the four corners of the inserting inlet to hold spacer springs. The wire connecting section has an engaging hole into which the conductor of an electrical wire W is inserted. Hence, by inserting the engaging piece of a flat type male connector into the terminal engaging section from above, the wire of the flat type female connector can be electrically connected to the wire of the flat type male connector.

    摘要: A watertight type shielded connector includes a housing assembly and a terminal assembly. The housing assembly includes a housing and a shield element molded integrally with the housing. The terminal assembly includes a resilient plug fitted over the sheath of a shielding wire. The shielding wire has a distal end thereof connected to a terminal. The terminal assembly also includes a conductor in electrical contact with the shielding material of the shielding wire. Upon inserting the terminal assembly into the housing assembly, the conductor electrically engages the shield element of the housing assembly so that the conductor establishes electric continuity between the shield element of the housing assembly and the shielding material of the terminal assembly while at the same time the plug fits to the fitting bore of the housing assembly so that the terminal assembly engages the housing assembly in a watertight relation. The shield element of the housing assembly serves to shield the terminal. The plug is formed with a first projection extending all around the outer surface of the plug to form a closed loop and a second projection extending all around the inner surface of the plug to form a closed loop, the first projection fitting to the fitting bore of the housing assembly and the second projection fitting over the sheath of the shielding wire. The plug and conductor may take the form of a single component made of a conductive rubber.
