摘要： A method and apparatus for making a shaped-spring assembly. The method and apparatus utilizes a spring forming apparatus which facilitates the forming of shaped springs without adversely effecting the characteristics of the spring, and a magazine arrangement which stores and loads shaped springs, while maintaining the shape of the springs. The magazine arrangement further permits the storage of a plurality of the shaped springs without fatiguing a leading edge of the spring. With the apparatus and method of the present invention, it is possible to load empty shaped spring cavities at a select location, such as at a field site, and also have a steady supply of shaped springs available for quick replacement. The forming apparatus is designed so as to easily cooperate and/or be mounted onto the magazine arrangement so as to facilitate the transfer of shape springs which are shaped by the forming apparatus into the magazine arrangement.

摘要： A method and apparatus for making a shaped-spring assembly. 摘要： The present invention provides for a processor or processing arrangement which includes a replenishment system that meters or dispenses an amount of replenishment solution in direct relation to an amount of photosensitive media that passes through the processor or processing arrangement. The replenishment system includes a dispensing chamber and a cam roller that is operationally associated with a conveying roller. The cam roller engages a valve on the dispensing chamber. When the valve is moved to an open position in relation to a rotation of the cam roller, an amount of processing solution is metered out of the chamber in an amount related to the amount of rotation of the conveying roller.

摘要： A film projector for use with frames of processed photographic film having frame-associated image orientation data. The film projector has a light source that emits a collimated beam and a film holder that is disposed to hold individual frames of film in the beam. The film holder is pivotable between a first and second orthogonal orientations. An optical projection system receives the beam from the film holder. The optical system propagates and focuses at least a portion of the beam on a viewing plane external to the projector. A sensor is disposed to read the frame-associated image orientation data. The sensor produces a signal responsive to the image configuration information. A controller receives the signal from the sensor. A repositioner is connected to the film holder. The repositioner is operatively connected to the controller to move the film holder between the orientations responsive to the controller.

According to the invention, a slide positioned in the projection gate of the projector exhibits incorrect curvature, preferably as detected by the autofocus system of the projector, a door is opened allowing dry heat from the projection lamp to be applied directly to the slide, preferably until the slide reverts to a proper or normal curvature.

A spool lock is supported for movement to arrest the spool with the film exposure status indicator in the unexposed, partly exposed or fully exposed position, and to release the spool. According to the invention, the spool lock includes a film speed indicator for providing a detectable indication of the speed of the filmstrip which is not detectable when the spool lock is arresting the spool and is detectable when the spool lock has released the spool.

摘要： In a film cassette, a cassette shell has a pair of throat portions which together define a film passageway to the exterior of the shell, a spool is supported for rotation in an unwinding direction inside the shell, a convoluted film roll whose outermost convolution is a film leader is coiled about the spool, and a stripper is located immediately inwardly of the passageway to be received between a leading end of the film leader and a next-inward convolution of the film roll responsive to rotation of the spool in the unwinding direction to divert the leading end into the passageway to permit the leading end to be advanced from the shell. According to the invention, an inclined surface along one of the throat portions and an inclined surface along the other throat portion are arranged in offset co-planar relation, and a resiliently flexible shutter blade has two opposite ends one of which is secured to the inclined surface along one of the throat portions and the other of which rests freely against the inclined surface along the other throat portion to permit the leading end of the film leader to deflect the shutter blade out of its way when the leading end is advanced from the shell.

The shell has an end cap including a locking pawl normally urged to individually engage any one of the detents, but which can be moved to disengage any one of the detents by a suitable device in a camera.
