摘要： A light-shielding cloth that is to be bonded to a slit-form opening of a container for a photosensitive material is formed from a base fabric and a crimped pile thread incorporated into the base fabric so that the pile density is in the range from 45,000 filaments/cm2 to 85,000 filaments/cm2, a hot-melt adhesive region being provided on the reverse side of the base fabric without a filling agent being applied thereto for the purpose of preventing the hot-melt adhesive from penetrating the base fabric. A container for a photosensitive material is formed by bonding the light-shielding cloth to a slit-form opening using a 100% solids adhesive, preferably an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin based adhesive, without a treatment with a filling agent. A narrow-width light-shielding ribbon is formed by slitting the light-shielding cloth by means of an ultrasonic slitter.

摘要： A camera with a device that opens and closes a light lock door of a film cartridge loaded in the camera includes a drive source that moves a photographing lens barrel, and an opening/closing mechanism that uses the drive source to open and close the light lock door. A moving mechanism moves the photographing lens barrel. A switching mechanism is coupled to the drive source, and transmits a driving force from the drive source to a selected one of the moving mechanism and the opening/closing mechanism. When an inhibiting device inhibits movement of the photographing lens barrel and the movement mechanism of the photographing lens barrel, the switching mechanism transmits the driving force to the opening/closing mechanism for the light lock door. When the inhibiting device does not inhibit movement of the photographing lens barrel and its moving mechanism, a braking device prevents the opening/closing mechanism from moving so that the driving force is only supplied to the moving mechanism of the photographing lens barrel.

摘要： A photo film cassette contains photo film wound in a roll form, and includes a passage port which has first and second walls between which the photo film is passed. The light-trapping fabric includes a base fabric having first and second surfaces. Pile threads are disposed to protrude from the first surface of the base fabric, for preventing ambient light from entry into the photo film cassette between the first and second walls. In the course of manufacturing the photo film cassette, before attaching the light-trapping fabric, the pile threads are previously bent in a position thereof. The light-trapping fabric is pressed against the first or second wall with a pressing roller, for attaching the second surface to the passage port. An extent of bending the pile threads is enlarged by the pressing roller during the attachment to impart a V-shape to the pile threads.

Strips (22) of light-locking material are provided on both sides of the opening, the strips being made from a napped and sheared woven fabric (12, 14). The fabric is dyed, dried, napped, sheared and heat set prior to preparation of the strips. A method of producing such a light-locking material is taught which includes steps of passing the woven fabric multiple times through napping and shearing operations to increase the pile density.

摘要： A camera uses a film cartridge having a casing with a spool therein, and a slot formed in the casing. A film is drawn from, and returned into, the casing through the slot. A light-intercepting door is provided along the slot for opening and closing the slot, and a pivotal shaft rotatably mounts the light-intercepting door on the casing. The camera includes first and second motors. The first motor rotates the pivotal shaft to open and close the door, rotates the spool in one direction to advance the film wound on the spool from the film cartridge, and rotates the spool in another direction to rewind the film into the film cartridge. The second motor rotates a film take-up spool provided in the camera to wind the film around the film take-up spool.
