    摘要： A non-aqueous silicone emulsion is provided. It comprises a continuous phase of a polar organic liquid containing droplets of an organopolysiloxane dispersed therein. An organic wax, which has a melting point in the range 40 to 100° C. and is sparingly soluble in the polar organic liquid at 25° C., is dispersed in the polar organic liquid continuous phase as a network of interconnected particles which stabilizes the organopolysiloxane droplets in emulsion in the polar organic liquid. A process for the production of the emulsion is also disclosed.

    摘要： A process for washing a substrate. The process involves providing a detergent composition that includes a surfactant and an antifoam. The antifoam comprises a hydrophobic fluid having a surface tension of at least 27 mN/m and less than 40 mN/m and a finely divided solid hydrophobic filler dispersed in the hydrophobic fluid. The process further involves washing the substrate in an aqueous medium with the detergent composition. The antifoam does not affect foaming during the washing step. During the washing step, the detergent composition is applied to the substrate. The process further involves rinsing the substrate with the applied detergent composition with water, whereby foaming during the rinsing step is inhibited.

    摘要： A process for the production of water-containing silicone rubber device comprising the steps of mixing an external phase comprising an organopolysiloxane polymer having at least two reactive groups per molecule, a water in oil emulsifier and where required one or more active ingredients and/or optional additives; with an internal phase comprising water and optionally one or more active ingredients to form an emulsion; and subsequently introducing a cure package comprising a cure package comprising a suitable catalyst, which will be determined by the cure reaction between the polymer and where required a cross-linker, and which contains more than two reactive groups, designed to react with the reactive groups in the polymer in the presence of said catalyst in order to cure the external phase of the composition, thereby entrapping the water within the body of said water-containing silicone rubber device. The resulting product is preferably used fragrance delivery in applications selected from aromatherapy anti stress ball, aromatherapy pillow, deodorising shoe sole solid deodorising device for houses, external prosthesis, facial mask for delivery of actives.
