Abstract: A slit lamp microscope according to some aspect examples includes an illumination system and photographing system. The illumination system projects slit light onto an anterior segment of a subject's eye. The photographing system includes an optical system and an image sensor. The optical system directs light from the anterior segment onto which the slit light is being projected. The image sensor includes a light detecting surface that receives the light directed by the optical system. Further, a subject plane, a principal plane of the optical system, and the light detecting surface are arranged so as to satisfy a Scheimpflug condition. Here, the subject plane includes a focal point of the illumination system in which a position of the focal point is shifted on account of a refractive index of a tissue of the anterior segment.

Abstract: A slit lamp microscope of some embodiment examples includes an illumination system, photography system, and movement mechanism. The illumination system projects slit light onto an anterior segment of an eye. The photography system includes an optical system and image sensor. The optical system directs light coming from the anterior segment onto which the slit light is being projected. The image sensor includes a light detecting plane that receives the light directed by the optical system. The movement mechanism moves the illumination and photography systems. The subject plane along the optical axis of the illumination system, the optical system, and the light detecting plane satisfy the Scheimpflug condition. The photography system acquires a plurality of images of the anterior segment by performing repetitive photography in parallel with movement of the illumination and photography systems performed by the movement mechanism.

Abstract: A variable magnification optical component and an ophthalmic apparatus having a simpler mechanism and requiring a small space are provided. The variable magnification optical component includes an optical path, and a power changer, disposed rotatably with respect to an optical axis of the optical path. The power changer is configured to be removably inserted into the optical path, in which the power changer includes: multiple lenses for varying power and a light beam passage hole configured not to interfere with the lenses. In a first configuration of the variable magnification optical component, the power changer is inclined at a predetermined angle, such that the lenses are retracted outside the optical path, and the optical path passes through the light beam passage hole. In a second configuration of the variable magnification optical component, the power changer is restored and the lenses are positioned on the optical path.

Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus includes a light source, an illumination optical system, an optical scanner, an imaging optical system, and a controller. The illumination optical system is configured to generate slit-shaped illumination light using light from the light source. The optical scanner is configured to deflect the illumination light to guide the illumination light to a fundus of a subject's eye. The imaging optical system is configured to guide returning light of the illumination light from the fundus to an image sensor. The controller is configured to control the image sensor using a rolling shutter method. The illumination optical system includes a slit with a slit-shaped aperture capable of being arranged at a position substantially conjugate optically to the fundus, an iris aperture arranged between the light source and the slit, and configured to be capable of being arranged at a position substantially conjugate optically to an iris of the subject's eye; and an optical element arranged between the light source and the iris aperture, and configured to deflect the light from the light source.

Abstract: An ophthalmologic apparatus according to the embodiments includes an OCT optical system, an alignment unit, an image forming unit, a first calculator, and a second calculator. The OCT optical system is configured to acquire OCT data of a fundus of a subject's eye by projecting measurement light onto the fundus. The alignment unit is configured to perform alignment of the OCT optical system with reference to a predetermined site of the subject's eye. The image forming unit is configured to form a tomographic image of the fundus based on the OCT data acquired by the OCT optical system which has been aligned by the alignment unit. The first calculator is configured to calculate a first tilt angle of the tomographic image. The second calculator is configured to calculate a second tilt angle of the fundus by correcting the first tilt angle based on alignment result of the OCT optical system with respect to the predetermined site by the alignment unit.
