Abstract: A point cloud data display system includes a target unit including a reflection target, a scanner device configured to acquire point cloud data, a surveying instrument configured to obtain a distance and an angle to the reflection target, measured coordinates and a direction angle of the scanner device, and a display device configured to display data output from the scanner device and the surveying instrument. The scanner device outputs point cloud data in association with an observation point each time of acquisition of the point cloud data. The surveying instrument outputs coordinates, a direction angle of the scanner device at the observation point. When the point cloud data, coordinates and direction angle with respect to the observation point are obtained, the display device converts point cloud data into data in a map coordinate system and displays the converted data on a display unit in association with a map.

Abstract: Provided is a scanner system includes a laser scanner and a remote controller thereof. The remote controller includes a guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner includes a guide light receiving unit for detecting the guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner directs the optical axis of distance-measuring light to the guide light transmitting unit based on a light reception signal and set a data exclusion range with reference to the direction of the guide light transmitting unit. The laser scanner re-measures point cloud data of the data exclusion range in accordance with a measurement permission from the remote controller upon measuring point cloud data of an entire measurement range, and deletes the point cloud data of the data exclusion range from the point cloud data of an entire measurement range, and replacing the deleted data with remeasured point cloud data to acquire entire point cloud data.

Abstract: A surveying system includes a target unit having a reflection target and an encoder pattern showing an angle of the target unit; a scanner configured to acquire three-dimensional point cloud data, measured coordinates of the target, and optically read the encoder pattern to acquire an encoder pattern read angle; and a leveling base configured to selectively allow either of the target unit and the scanner to be removably mounted. The scanner calculates a direction angle of the leveling base based on the encoder pattern read angle and the offset angle of the target unit, calculates coordinates of an installation point of the target unit based on the measured coordinates of the target and the direction angle of the target, and calculates a direction angle of the scanner based on the offset angle of the scanner and the direction angle of the leveling base on which the scanner is mounted.

Abstract: A trajectory of a measuring device is calculated based on measurement data acquired by the measuring device that is moving along a measurement route, and on a vertical plane orthogonal to the trajectory, a two-dimensional figure is identified by designating an extraction angle range around an intersection of the trajectory and the vertical plane based on a perpendicular drawn down to a horizontal plane from the intersection and an extraction distance range based on the intersection on the vertical plane, and a region obtained by extending the two-dimensional figure along the trajectory is set as an extraction region, and point cloud data in a region including a specific analysis target is extracted as extracted point cloud data from entire circumference point cloud data acquired by scanning the circumference of the measuring device and included in the measurement data.
