Abstract: An example operation includes one or more of determining a first carbon footprint of a first mode of transportation and a second carbon footprint of a second mode of transportation, where the first mode of transportation is a primary mode of transportation and the second carbon footprint is less than the first carbon footprint, responsive to the first carbon footprint being above a threshold, calculating a period of time the second mode of transportation is utilized to negate an amount above the threshold, and sending a notification to use the second mode of transportation for the period of time.
