    摘要: A siphon jet toilet for supplying flush water in a storage tank by using the head pressure thereof is disclosed. The siphon jet toilet has a toilet main unit furnished with a bowl portion, a rim water spout, a drain trap passage for expelling waste using siphon action, a jet water spout opening formed at a position opposite the inlet of the drain trap passage, a rim water channel for supplying flush water to the rim water spout opening, and a jet water channel for supplying flush water to the jet water channel. The jet water channel includes a plurality of branched water conduits, a merging portion for causing flush water from the plurality of branched water conduits to merge and swirl toward the jet water spout opening and a flow aligner for aligning the flow of flush water merged in the merging portion. The merging portion including an outer wall portion formed in essentially a straight line so that flush waters in the outer region of the swirl collide head-on and an inner wall portion on which a bent portion is formed so that flush water in the inner region of the swirl flows smoothly toward the jet water spout opening.

    摘要: Only one spherical fine particle 1 is fed from a cartridge 2. The particle 1 is held by a precision manipulator 3. The diameter of the particle 1 is measured by a measuring device 6 to detect the central position of the particle 1. The particle 1 is moved by using an X-Y-Z stage and a roughly moving part of the manipulator 3 such that the center of the particle 1 nearly corresponds to the target position to bring the particle 1 into contact with other particles neighboring thereto. Laser beams are irradiated to the contact areas of the particles to fuse these areas. The particle is moved slightly and precisely by using a precisely moving part of the manipulator 3 so that the center of the particle absolutely corresponds to the target position before the fused areas thereof become hard. The particle 1 is then released from the manipulator 3. The above processes are repeated sequentially after the fused areas becomes hard.

    摘要: A three-dimensional photonic crystal having a wide and sharp bandgap, a manufacturing method thereof, a structural body for manufacturing this photonic crystal, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The structural body is formed by placing monodisperse particles in a recess having a regular quadrangular pyramid shape formed in a container, arranging the particles three-dimensionally by applying vibration, and performing sintering, so that adjacent particles are connected to each other with necks provided therebetween. A dielectric resin is impregnated in voids of the structural body and is then cured to form a composite. The composite is immersed in a solution which dissolves only the structural body. Monodisperse particles exposed at the surface of the composite are dissolved, and monodisperse particles adjacent thereto with necks provided therebetween are then sequentially dissolved, so that the whole structural body is finally dissolved. Hence, a photonic crystal composed of the dielectric resin is manufactured.

    摘要: A vehicular height controlling arrangement changing a length of a suspension cylinder by supplying or draining the hydraulic oil through a damping force selector valve. The damping force selector valve changes a damping force of a suspension cylinder by changing an orifice therein. When the vehicular height is lowered under a vehicle stopping condition, a large orifice is selected in the damping force selector valve so as to quickly lower the vehicular height. Thereafter, a small orifice is immediately selected to suppress the swinging of the automotive vehicle.
