Abstract: A rail system is provided having two profile rails, between which a lamellar configuration having multiple lamellar elements is provided. The lamellar element is implemented for a roller blind device, which can be guided in a rail system like a folding blind, having a lamellar body and having at least two guide elements, which are situated on diametrically opposing sides of the lamellar body and extend in the transverse direction of the lamellar element, for holding and/or guiding in at least one guide groove of the rail system, at least one first guide element having at least one extension differing in the transverse direction in relation to at least one second guide element.

Abstract: A container for gas storage tanks in a vehicle is disclosed as part of a fuel storage system. The container is dimensioned to include one or more storage tanks along with a flow control device, such as a pressure regulator or automatic valve. The container does not form a fluid-tight containment around the storage tank and includes one or more ventilation openings to allow a gas within the container to be vented therefrom. There is also one or more drain openings in the container to allow liquid within the container to be drained therefrom.

Abstract: A pressure vessel is provided having an outer support layer having an inner surface; a composite wrap disposed adjacent to the inner surface; and a liner disposed adjacent to the fiber composite wrap. Further provided is an adapter disposed at a first end of the pressure vessel and configured for charging a cavity formed by the pressure vessel with a compressed fuel, wherein the adapter includes a first pressure relief device; and a second pressure relief device disposed at a second end of the pressure vessel. The second pressure relief device defines a passage through the outer support layer and the composite wrap and has a chamber and a diaphragm disposed between the chamber and the cavity. Also described are a fuel cell propulsion system and a vehicle including the provided pressure vessel.

Abstract: A gaseous fuel storage system for a vehicle is disclosed. The fuel storage system can be installed as a modular unit in the vehicle. The fuel storage system is pivotable relative to the vehicle to allow easy accessibility to the storage tanks without requiring the storage tanks to be unmounted from the vehicle. The fuel storage system also provides protection for the storage tanks through the use of shielding and energy absorbing material.
