Abstract: An apparatus is provided to stack a fuel cell stack by pressurizing a separating plate component including a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) sheet component, in which gas diffusion layers are bonded to both surfaces of an MEA, respectively. The apparatus include a component aligning unit connected to a completion end of a component transfer route of a conveyor to align the separating plate component and the MEA sheet component transferred by the conveyor to predetermined positions. A component stacking unit is installed at the component aligning unit side, and is configured to grip the separating plate component and the MEA sheet component and stack the components on a stack guide. A component pressurizing unit is installed at an upper side of a transfer route, through which the stack guide is transferred, and is configured to pressurize the separating plate component and the MEA sheet component stacked on the stack guide.

Abstract: The protection of an electrical energy accumulation device from electromagnetic attacks is provided. The electrical energy accumulation device comprises a housing made of an electrically conductive material, at least one electrical energy storage cell that is arranged in the housing and two terminals that are arranged through the housing, the terminals being electrically insulated from the housing, the terminals allowing electrical energy to be transferred between the at least one storage cell and the exterior of the device. The device further comprises, inside the housing, a specific component exhibiting an impedance having at least one resistive component that is higher than 1 ohm, which component is configured to dissipate the energy of electromagnetic interference attempting to penetrate the housing through at least one of the terminals.

Abstract: An electric vehicle includes a thermal management system, an electric drive, a traction battery electrically coupled to the electric drive and a thermal energy source thermally coupled to the traction battery. Thermally coupling the thermal energy source and traction battery makes it possible to keep the area surrounding the traction battery and the traction battery itself at a temperature level where the traction battery can be efficiently operated. The waste heat of the thermal energy source may be used directly for heating up the vehicle interior and/or for controlling the temperature of the traction battery. Making direct use of provided waste heat that might arise in the motor vehicle anyway proves to be particularly energy efficient.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a fuel cell of a vehicle are provided. The method includes sensing a time point when pressure control is necessary by sensing whether an output of the fuel cell is additionally necessary or whether the fuel cell can be in a dry-out state. In response to sensing that the pressure control is necessary, a required valve opening degree of an air outlet is derived by substituting a target air pressure for a data map. A fuel cell air outlet valve is then adjusted based the derived valve opening degree of the air outlet.

Abstract: A fuel cell vehicle includes a lid, a switch, a sensor, and circuitry. The lid opens and closes a fuel inlet through which fuel gas is to be supplied to a tank. The switch takes an opening position to open the lid and a closing position to close the lid. The sensor detects whether the lid opens or closes the fuel inlet. The circuitry is configured to prohibit the fuel cell vehicle from travelling when the sensor detects that the lid opens the fuel inlet while the switch takes the opening position.
