The container body (21) is secured to an upper portion of a pump column (3) in which the submersible pump (2) is to be installed.

An example multiphase hydrogen refueling system includes a liquid hydrogen (LH2) tank coupled to at least one of a cryo-compressed hydrogen (CcH2) tank and a gaseous hydrogen (GH2) tank; a liquid nitrogen (LN2) tank; and a hydrant coupled to the LH2 tank, the CcH2 tank, the GH2 tank, and the LN2 tank, the hydrant including: a transfer line to refuel an aircraft with at least LH2, CcH2, or GH2; a purge valve to purge the transfer line using at least one of nitrogen (N2) from the LN2 tank or GH2 from the GH2 tank; and a GH2 return line to transmit evaporated GH2 back to the GH2 tank.

Abstract: A carbonation machine may include a carbonation head, a holder that is configured to hold a gas canister, the holder comprising a connector with a socket configured to enable linear insertion of a valve of the canister into the socket, the socket including a seal with at least one lateral opening to enable fluidic flow between one or more laterally oriented ports of the valve and a conduit of the holder while preventing leakage of gas from the fluidic flow, and a holding mechanism configured to hold a lateral projection from the canister after insertion of the valve into the socket such that the valve remains in the socket, and an activation mechanism configured to operate the valve to release the gas from the canister when inserted into the socket so as to enable the gas to flow via the conduit to the carbonation head.

Disclosed systems include a superconducting (SC) motor to power a propulsor of an aircraft and a liquid hydrogen (LH2) subcooling system including a primary flowline fluidly coupled to a cooling assembly of the SC motor, a secondary flowline fluidly coupled to the primary flowline, an expansion valve coupled to the secondary flowline, and a heat exchanger fluidly coupled to the primary flowline and the secondary flowline. Disclosed systems also include a fuel cell stack coupled to the primary flowline and the cooling assembly.

Abstract: A bi-directional penetrating metal bottleneck structure of a type IV hydrogen storage tank is provided, which includes a metal valve seat, a plastic liner, and a fiber winding layer. A valve seat hole is formed on an inner side of the metal valve seat, and the metal valve seat includes an annular flange, a valve seat column section, and a valve seat extension. L-shaped through holes and radial penetrating holes are formed in the valve seat column section. The valve seat hole is an irregular through hole and is provided with an annular groove. The valve seat extension is provided with a winding inclined plane, a self-tightening conical surface, a circumferential groove, and axial penetrating holes. The plastic liner includes an inner plastic joint, an outer plastic joint, a tapered connecting section, L-shaped connectors, radial connectors, axial connectors, and a reinforcement section. A flared annular boss at an upper part of the inner plastic joint is tightly clamped and embedded in the annular groove, and a lower part of the inner plastic joint, the L-shaped connector and the radial connector enclose a “B”-shaped binding structure to wrap a lower part of the valve seat column section inside and outside. According to the present disclosure, binding fastening is achieved, a sealing effect is enhanced, and the reliability and stability of a connection between the plastic liner and the metal valve seat are ensured.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a power supply apparatus for detecting a gas leak is provided. The apparatus may include: a power supply pipe which is connected to a pump and has a power line passing therethrough, the power line supplying power from a power supply unit to a motor in the pump; a flexible joint pipe having one side connected to the power supply pipe and the other side connected to the power supply unit; a power inlet unit having one side facing the pump and the other side positioned on the power supply pipe so as to face the power supply unit to connect the power line, and preventing gas leak from one side to the other side in the pump; and a leak detection unit which fills the power supply pipe with an inert gas and detects a gas leak according to a change in pressure.

Abstract: A recovery unit configured to re-inject lost or fugitive emissions back into a pipeline. These configuration may include a pressure vessel that can hold gas (or other fluid) that might vent to atmosphere from, for example, a valve or like flow control. A pump may couple with the pressure vessel. In use, this pump can draw fluid out of the pressure vessel and pressurize it to inject back into the pipeline, typically downstream of the valve. The pump may utilize upstream pressure as a power source.

Abstract: An example of a container is disclosed. The example disclosed herein comprises an impermeable container wall, a container releasing valve, and a gas vessel. The impermeable container wall defines the boundaries of an inner volume of the container. The container releasing valve is installed in the container wall to release gas from the inner volume of the container to the outside of the container. The gas vessel is installed in the inner volume of the container. The gas vessel comprises a gas vessel wall, a pressurized vessel gas, and a gas vessel releasing system. The gas vessel wall defines the boundaries of an inner volume of the gas vessel, wherein the gas vessel wall is impermeable and allows for a pressure difference between the inner volume of the gas vessel and an outer volume of the gas vessel. A pressurized vessel gas is enclosed within the inner volume of the gas vessel. And a gas releasing system is to release a certain quantity of the vessel gas to the inner volume of the gas container.
