    Abstract: A system described herein may request, from a first network, access parameters associated with a User Equipment (“UE”) and a second network. The first network may be, for example, a home network with respect to the UE and the second network may be a roaming network with respect to the UE. The system may receive, from the first network, the requested access parameters associated with the UE and the second network, which may include authentication information associated with the first network (e.g., as provided by an authentication system of the first network). The system may output the access parameters and the authentication information to the UE, which may verify the access parameters based on the authentication information, select one or more access parameters of the verified access parameters, and request a communication session establishment with the second network in accordance with the selected one or more access parameters.

    Abstract: A device of a first network, to which a User Equipment (“UE”) is wirelessly connected, may receive, a request to access a service provided by a second network. The device may establish, based on the request, a user plane connection between the first network and the second network while the UE remains wirelessly connected to the first network. The first network may receive, from the UE, traffic that is associated with the service, and may output the received traffic to the second network via the user plane connection. The first and second networks may communicate via a connection, such as a tunnel, via respective User Plane Functions (“UPFs”) of the first and second networks. The UPFs may communicate via an N9 interface. The service may be provided by an edge computing device of the second network.

    Abstract: A method including receiving, at a CSCF (Call Session Control Function) portion of a home network in which a mobile station is subscribed, an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) registration request from the mobile station via a visited network to which the mobile station is attached; establishing an SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) session between the mobile station and the CSCF server in response to the received IMS registration request; receiving, at the CSCF server, a SIP INVITE message from the mobile station during the SIP session, wherein the SIP INVITE requests use of a service; obtaining an identifier for the visited network; obtaining, in response to receiving the SIP INVITE message, a first roaming policy based on the identifier for the visited network; determining whether the SIP INVITE message is acceptable based on the obtained first roaming policy and the service requested by the SIP INVITE message; and sending a response for the SIP INVITE message to the mobile station, wherein the response is based on the determination whether the SIP INVITE message is acceptable.
