摘要： An onscreen function execution method for a mobile terminal having a touchscreen is provided. The method allows for executing functions of an activated application by a tap on a specific area of the touchscreen. An onscreen function execution method of the present invention includes mapping active regions of the touchscreen to functions of at least one application, displaying an application screen in response to an application activation command and executing, if a tap is detected on one of the active regions, a function mapped to the application activation command. The active regions may include a function execution display region and the applications may comprise a camera application, a music player application, an idle mode screen application and the like. The method allows a user to execute functions of an activated application by tap on the touchscreen.

摘要： A method and a terminal for playing and displaying music are provided. The method includes selecting a desired track in a playback mode, playing the selected track, displaying information about the selected track and a playing progress bar and displaying a current play time for the selected track and a position corresponding to the current play time on the playing progress bar in order to update playing progress information. The method and terminal enable a user to adjust the playback and selection of tracks through a novel interface, thereby providing increased convenience for a user of a terminal equipped with a music player.

The terminal includes a Radio Frequency (RF) unit for receiving signal from an external, a memory for storing a plurality of image elements comprising an idle screen image (IDLE_Img), a key input unit for generating a key input signal, a display unit for displaying the IDLE_Img, a battery for supplying necessary power to a terminal, and a controller for controlling receiving/transmitting signals between the respective components comprising the RF unit, the memory, the key input unit, the display unit and the battery, and for controlling the IDLE_Img to be displayed differently from a preset image according to system internal information parameter (Sys_Info) generated in response to changes of the respective components.

摘要： A mobile communication terminal and method are provided. The terminal displays an animation icon associated with active information on a wait screen. A determination is made as to whether a motion of the animation icon is associated with active information of the mobile communication terminal, and the animation icon according to the active information is moved when the motion of the animation icon is associated with active information. Since the animation icon displayed on the wait screen is associated with the active information, a user can easily check the active information of the mobile communication terminal through the animation icon. Also, the present invention increases visibility of active information of the mobile communication terminal and provides new user interfaces.
