摘要： Each of first and second decoders outputs two voltages each having a voltage value equal to any one of a plurality of gray-level voltages according to gray-level data as two selection voltages or outputs any two of the plurality of gray-level voltages according to gray-level data as the two selection voltages. A connection switching circuit associates one of the first and second decoders with a first differential amplifier and the other decoder with a second differential amplifier. An output switching circuit associates one of the first and second differential amplifiers with a first output node and the other differential amplifier with a second output node. Each of the first and second differential amplifiers synthesizes selection voltages output from the decoder associated with the differential amplifier to generate a driving voltage and outputs the generated driving voltage to the output node associated with the differential amplifier.

A second power supply wiring supplies a second voltage. The first and second input/output circuits each select any one of the first and second power supply wirings, depending on the polarity of an input signal, to output an output signal. The first and second input/output circuits each have any one of a first characteristic in which an output signal having the same polarity as that of the input signal is output and a second characteristic in which an output signal having a polarity opposite to that of the input signal is output. The characteristics possessed by the first and second input/output circuits are different from each other.

The driving device according to an aspect of the present invention drives a display panel and includes: a film on which wires and a circuit element are mounted; and a first film portion and a second film portion separated by providing a first slit in the film. Each of the first film portion and the second film portion is folded at least once and connected to the display panel.

A display apparatus driving circuit according to the present invention includes: a source driver for driving a display unit; a heat detecting circuit for detecting amount of heat generated at the source driver, and outputting a heat detection signal when the detected amount of generated heat is equal to or larger than a predetermined reference value; and a heat reduction circuit for changing, when the heat detection signal is received, a driving method of the display unit to reduce the amount of heat generated at said source driver.

Transitions of complementary data inputs Vin1 and Vin2 are made in a period in which n-MOS transistors M7 and M8 for control are turned OFF by changing a control input VS1 to an L level (switch-off period). In this switch-off period, each source of the n-MOS transistors M1 and M2 is disconnected from VSS. In addition, in the switch-off period, a control input VS2 is changed to an L level, thereby turning ON p-MOS transistors M5 and M6 for control. In a period in which the control p-MOS transistors M5 and M6 are ON, data outputs Vout1 and Vout2 are both precharged to VDD (precharge period).
