    Abstract: Provided are an information indication method and apparatus, a device and a storage medium. The information indication method includes: dividing beam identifier (ID) information into first beam ID information and second beam ID information according to a preset rule, where the first beam ID information and the second beam ID information are used for instructing a second node to obtain the beam ID information based on the preset rule; carrying the first beam ID information on a first resource and transmitting the first beam ID information to the second node; and carrying the second beam ID information on a second resource and transmitting the second beam ID information to the second node.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to wireless communications and, more particularly, to systems and methods for determining an adaptive random access response window length in non-terrestrial networks. In one embodiment, a method performed by a communication device includes: receiving system information from a communication node, wherein the communication node communicates using a satellite in orbit or a high altitude platform station (HAPS); and determining an adaptive random access response window length based on the system information and whether the communication device has access to situation information that: characterizes a location of the communication device, an ephemeris of the satellite or a trajectory of the HAPS, and a payload type of the satellite or the HAPS.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for selecting root pairs for Zadoff-Chu sequences for random access preamble and for signaling one or more values associated with the root pair to a user equipment (UE) by a base station. The described root pair selection methods for two-root physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble can enable the peak differences received at the UE from different frequency offsets (FOs) to be disjointed even considering error in UE side. The selection techniques can improve the performance of PRACH FO and time offset (TO) estimation.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating and processing preambles in wireless communication are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system and method are configured to receive, from a wireless communication node, a message indicating a first sequence configuration including a set of predefined parameters and a second sequence configuration including a plurality of sets of parameters; generate a first part of a random access preamble based on the set of predefined parameters; generate a second part of the random access preamble based on selecting one of the plurality of sets of parameters; and transmit the random access preamble to the wireless communication node, wherein the first part is configured to be used by the wireless communication node to locate the second part in a time domain.
