    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to wireless communications and, more particularly, to systems and methods for determining an adaptive random access response window length in non-terrestrial networks. In one embodiment, a method performed by a communication device includes: receiving system information from a communication node, wherein the communication node communicates using a satellite in orbit or a high altitude platform station (HAPS); and determining an adaptive random access response window length based on the system information and whether the communication device has access to situation information that: characterizes a location of the communication device, an ephemeris of the satellite or a trajectory of the HAPS, and a payload type of the satellite or the HAPS.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for handling UE associated information in non-terrestrial networks are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a satellite head station, includes: translating a first uplink (UL) tunnel address associated with a core network to a second UL tunnel address associated with the satellite head station, wherein the first and second UL tunnel addresses are each associated with a packet data unit (PDU) session established between the core network and a user equipment device (UE); transmitting the second UL tunnel address to a first satellite base station; and receiving UL data associated with the PDU session from the first satellite base station, wherein a UL tunnel address destination associated with the received UL data is set as the second UL tunnel address.

    Abstract: Provided are methods and apparatuses for transmitting and receiving control signaling and for determining information. The method include determining second information according to first information, where the second information includes at least one of the following: the number N of bits used in first control signaling to notify a first transmission parameter, a correspondence mapping table between an index value referenced by the first transmission parameter in the first control signaling and the value of the first transmission parameter, the type of the first transmission parameter notified by a predetermined indication field in the first control signaling, or position information of the bits used in the first control signaling to notify the first transmission parameter; and where the first information includes a relationship between a transmission time interval between the first control signaling and a first signal and a predetermined threshold K, where N and K are non-negative integers; and transmitting the first control signaling.

    Abstract: Provided in the present application are a data segmentation method, apparatus, and terminal. The method comprises: a receiving node determines data segmentation indication information corresponding to a first type of data; the receiving node sends the data segmentation indication information to a transmitting node to recommend that the transmitting node use the segmentation method when segmenting the first type of data. The present application solves the problem in the prior art of poor integral link adaptability caused by the interference in some of the resources amongst physical resource blocks.
