The apparatus and method selects a first MCBCS proxy among MCBCS proxies in the plurality of ASNs as a master MCBCS proxy, and selects other MCBCS proxies except for the first MCBCS proxy as slave MCBCS proxies, and the first MCBCS proxy transmits information for macro diversity to the slave MCBCS proxies, wherein the master MCBCS proxy first receives an MCBCS join message from a Mobile Station (MS) in one Multicast and Broadcast Service (MBS) zone.

摘要： An apparatus and method is provided for controlling power allocated to a burst of a downlink frame that a Base Station (BS) will transmit to a Mobile Station (MS) in a wireless communication system. The power control method includes comparing a measured Carrier to Interference and Noise Ratio (CINR) of the burst with a reference CINR of the burst, calculating a difference therebetween as a boosting power if the measured CINR is lower than the reference CINR, and calculating the difference as a deboosting power if the measured CINR is higher than the reference CINR; and setting a boosting power level so that a total boosting power including the boosting power or the deboosting power is set within a power range where a possible boosting range and a possible dynamic range cross each other.

摘要： A method and apparatus for supporting a Mobile Internet Protocol (MIP) service based on Proxy Mobile IP (PMIP) in a portable Internet network is provided. In the method for supporting a MIP service based on PMIP in a portable Internet network including multiple subnets, a Portable Subscriber Station (PSS) performs an initial network entry procedure to a first subnet, and then acquires an IPv6 address that it uses as a Home of Address (HoA). A first Access Control Router (ACR) in the first subnet, configures an IPv6 address of the first ACR as a first Care of Address (CoA) of the PSS, and performs a MIPv6 registration procedure with a Home Agent (HA) using the HoA of the PSS and the first CoA. As a result, the PSS, even though it undergoes handover, has no need to perform a CoA acquisition procedure or its MIPv6-related procedure in the new subnet, making it possible to receive a seamless service without delay and packet loss for the ongoing service.
