    摘要: A controller of a power conversion circuit, coupled to a smart power stage (SPS), controls SPS to convert an input voltage into an output voltage and provides an output current. The SPS provides a current monitoring signal to the controller. The controller includes a control loop, a sampling circuit and a current reconstruction circuit. The control loop is coupled to SPS and generates a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal to control the operation of SPS. The sampling circuit is coupled to SPS and receives the current monitoring signal. The current monitoring signal is sampled according to PWM signal to obtain a calibration reference value. The current reconstruction circuit is coupled to the control loop and sampling circuit and generates a reconstructed current corresponding to actual output current. The reconstructed current is produced according to an input voltage, a reference voltage and PWM signal and calibrated using the calibration reference value.

    摘要: A control circuit of a power converter includes a first sensing circuit, a reference voltage generation circuit, an error amplifying circuit and a PWM circuit. The first sensing circuit, coupled to a first output circuit, provides a first current sensing signal. The reference voltage generation circuit, coupled to the first sensing circuit, provides a reference voltage according to the first current sensing signal. The error amplifying circuit, coupled to the reference voltage generation circuit, receives the reference voltage and an output feedback voltage of the power converter to provide an error amplifying signal. The PWM circuit, coupled between the error amplifying circuit and the first output circuit, receives the error amplifying signal and provides a control signal to control the first output circuit. The reference voltage generation circuit further receives the error amplifying signal and adjusts the reference voltage it generates according to the error amplifying signal.

    摘要: A control circuit of a power converter is coupled to an output stage and controls it to convert an input voltage into an output voltage and generate an output current. The control circuit includes a ripple generation circuit, a synthesis circuit, an error amplifier, a comparator and a PWM circuit. The ripple generation circuit generates a ripple signal according to an input voltage, an output voltage and output current. The synthesis circuit receives the ripple signal and a first feedback signal related to output voltage to provide a second feedback signal. The error amplifier receives the second feedback signal and a reference voltage to generate an error signal. The comparator receives a ramp signal and error signal to generate a comparison signal. The PWM circuit generates a PWM signal to control output stage according to the comparison signal. A slope of ripple signal is changed with the output current.

    摘要: A battery secondary protection circuit and a mode switching method thereof are disclosed. The battery secondary protection circuit is coupled in series with a battery primary protection circuit and has a power pin and a sensing pin. The switching method includes steps of: (S1) determining whether a voltage difference between the power pin and the sensing pin is greater than a default value; and (S2) selectively switching the battery secondary protection circuit to a first mode or a second mode according to a determination result of the step (S1). The battery secondary protection circuit delays a first delay time and a second delay time in the first mode and the second mode respectively and then performs a circuit protection operation. The first delay time is longer than the second delay time.

    摘要: A time signal generating circuit of a power converter and a control method thereof are provided. The time signal generating circuit includes a reference frequency generating circuit, an on-time circuit and a frequency tracking circuit. The reference frequency generating circuit provides a reference frequency signal. The on-time circuit provides an on-time signal according to a first reference signal and a second reference signal. The second reference signal is related to an output voltage of the power converter. The frequency tracking circuit is coupled to the reference frequency generating circuit and the on-time circuit, and compares frequencies of the reference frequency signal and the on-time signal within a default time to generate a tracking signal. The on-time circuit adjusts the second reference signal according to the tracking signal, so that the on-time circuit adjusts the frequency of the on-time signal.

    摘要: A dc-dc converting circuit and a method for controlling the same are provided. The dc-dc converting circuit includes an output stage, a mode detection circuit, a PWM signal generating circuit and a ramp signal generating circuit. The output stage provides an output voltage. The mode detection circuit provides a mode detection signal. The PWM generating circuit provides a time signal to the output stage. When the dc-dc converting circuit enters a continuous conduction mode from a discontinuous conduction mode, the ramp signal generating circuit provides a second ramp signal to the PWM signal generating circuit in a preset time according to the mode detection signal. The ramp signal generating circuit provides a first ramp signal to the PWM signal generating circuit after the preset time. A slope of the second ramp signal is greater than a slope of the first ramp signal.
