摘要: A foldable eating utensil includes a cutlery head, a first rod, and a second rod that are sequentially connected. A neck of the cutlery head connected to the first rod having a second restricting portion corresponding to the neck. When the second rod is folded toward the first rod, the second rod is restricted by the second restricting portion from leaving the first rod. When the cutlery head is folded toward the compacted first and second rods, the first rod is restricted by a first restricting portion for retaining the foldable eating utensil compacted. Since the second rod is restricted by the second restricting portion, during a process of folding the compacted first and second rods toward the cutlery head by an automatic machine, the work of the automatic machine could not be hindered by the second rod leaving the first rod. Therefore, the foldable eating utensil of the present invention is suitable for automated packaging.

摘要: A planar utensil element fabricated of a foldable material, and having a length greater than a width. The element comprises first and second scores positioned generally symmetrically about a longitudinal midline of the element, and indicative of where the element is to be folded in order to become a usable utensil; and a third score, generally perpendicular to the first and second scores, traversing the width of the element. The first and second scores each comprise a curved section; the two curved sections form a convex shape with respect to the midline. Folding the element about the first and second scores produces a handle and a bowl; and folding the element 180° about the third score temporarily shortens the length of the element for packaging and shipment purposes, prior to its becoming a usable utensil.

摘要: An apparatus allowing an individual to feed himself or herself without the use of their hands and without requiring assistance. An eating utensil is held by a utensil holder mounted on the top of a rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is fixedly attached to a rotary disk. The rotary disk is rotatably connected to a fixed shaft, which in turn is fixedly mounted to a base. The user removes the utensil from the mount using his or mouth, obtains a portion of food using the utensil, places the utensil back on the mount, and rotates the mount 180 degrees so the portion of food can thereby be consumed.
