The polycondensed elastomeric thermoplastic polymer is in particular chosen from copolymer block amides, copolyethers or copolyester block urethanes, copolyether block esters and the mixtures thereof, and is preferably a copolyether block amide.

摘要: A method of forming a natural fiber polymer composite includes the steps of introducing into an extruder a polymer, a natural fiber and a supercritical fluid to form a natural fiber polymer mixture; and extruding the natural fiber polymer mixture to form the natural fiber polymer composite at a temperature below a standard melting temperature of the polymer alone. The supercritical fluid may be introduced after the polymer is introduced into the extruder. The supercritical fluid may be introduced before or after the natural fiber is introduced into the extruder.

摘要: A twin screw extruder includes a barrel having a chamber, a discharge port, an extrusion molding die coupled to the discharge port of the barrel, axially extending first and second screw shafts, and a screw shaft support. The screw shaft support includes first and second spacer bearings disposed on the first and second screw shafts, and a first cross member including first and second loops slidably coupled to the first and second spacer bearings. A second cross member is spaced apart from the first cross member by a connection member, and also includes first and second loops slidably coupled to the first and second spacer bearings. The connection member is situated between the first spacer bearing and the second spacer bearing, and connected to the first cross member and the second cross member.

摘要: A system and method for an easy-to-open liner for use in connection with soil and sediment samplers, including direct push technology, rotary and coring systems, is disclosed. The liner is pre-scored along its length by one or more score lines formed in the exterior surface or the interior surface of the liner. After removal from the sampler, the liner can easily be opened to expose the contained sample without the need of cutting blades or other sharp objects, in accordance with health and safety requirements.

摘要: The extrusion device of a solid film comprises a cell provided with an input opening of a material designed to form the solid film, and an output opening of the solid film from the cell. The device comprises a first heat exchanger for applying a first temperature to the output opening and a second heat exchanger for applying a second temperature in a first zone of the cell distinct from the output opening and a control circuit imposing first and second sets of first and second temperatures. The first set enables a volume of the material in solid phase to be formed. The second set enables a temperature gradient to be generated in the volume so as to generate a pressure forcing extrusion of the solid film via the output opening.

摘要: A method for improving surface adhesion characteristics of a polymer substrate in which the portion of the surface of the polymeric substrate to be treated is contacted with a fluid material containing at least one oxidizing agent. The oxidizing agent in the fluid material is present in a kinetically degrading state capable of producing at least one chemical intermediate which is reactive with the polymeric substrate. Contact between the fluid containing the oxidizing agent and the polymeric substrate is maintained for an interval sufficient to produce or modify functional groups in the polymeric substrate proximate to its surface. The oxidizing agent of choice is a bivalent oxygen compound. The oxidizing agent is activated by an activator agent containing at least one carboxylic acid group or derivative thereof. The activator agent may be present in the fluid upon initial contact with the polymeric substrate or may be added to the fluid subsequent to initial contact with the polymeric substrate.

C. under a load of 2.16 kg) adjusted to 50 to 300 g/10 minutes, a main endothermic peak temperature Tmp of 120.degree. to 150.degree. C. for melting temperature and a main exothermic peak temperature Tcp of 85.degree. to 105.degree. C. for crystallization temperature, as measured with a Differential Scanning Calorimetry, and a Tcp half-value width of 5.degree. C. or above, and a molded article obtained by using the same.

摘要: A water-injection foaming devolatilizing method includes the steps of: melting and kneading a polymer in a water-injection dispersing zone of an extruder having a screw; injecting water into a polymer melt so as to be dispersed into the polymer melt which is being kneaded; and vaporizing volatile components contained in the polymer melt together with water in a devolatilizing zone having a vent port and located on a downstream side of the water-injection dispersing zone, so that the volatile components are removed and discharged through the vent port. A pressure-reducing expansion zone is provided between the water-injection dispersing zone and the devolatilizing zone so as to be upstream of the vent port. The method further includes gradually reducing a pressure in the pressure-reducing expansion zone so that not only bubbles in the water which is dispersed into the polymer melt are made to grow up, but also the bubbles are broken down at a downstream end portion of the pressure-reducing expansion zone.
