摘要： A conveying apparatus conveys an article between a wait position and a processing position. The conveying apparatus includes a plurality of arms that sandwiches the article between leading ends of the arms located on opposite sides of the article and that is provided to enable base ends of the arms to turn so as to move the leading ends in an up-down direction, and a control apparatus that turns the arms to lift the article located at one of the wait position and the processing position and sandwiched between the arms and that moves the arms with the article kept lifted thereby to the other of the wait position and the processing position, the control apparatus turning the arms to lower and mount the article at the other of the wait position and the processing position.

摘要： Product is conveyed as a continuous stream by a meter conveyor (12) unto a transfer plate (32) and a transfer device (42) in the form of a thin piece of flexible material. The transfer device (42) is movable between retracted and extended positions extending over a sweep conveyor (22) by securing its trailing and leading ends to flexible belts (106) on opposite longitudinal sides of the sweep conveyor (22). Product is transferred from the transfer device (42) to the sweep conveyor (22) as the transfer device (42) moves from the extended position to the retracted position and is engaged by a metering bar (52ba) which controls the product acceleration on the sweep conveyor (22) and by a sweep bar (62a) which collects the product on the sweep conveyor (22). The metering and sweep bars (52ba, 62a) move independently in the same direction along the same endless path.

摘要： A threaded nipple (26) at the closed end of a linear hydraulic motor (12) is received within a recess (82) in a frame member (78). Single clamp members, or individual clamp members (88), have recesses (92) that receive lower portions of the nipples (26). Bolts (94) extend through the clamp members (88) and screw into threaded openings in the frame member (78). This clamps the nipples (26) between the frame member (78) and the removable clamp members (88). End members (22) at the rod ends of the cylinders (12) include keys (66) that are received within recesses (80) formed in another frame member (76). Bolts (76) extend through the end member (22) and screw into threaded openings (84) in the member (76). A mounting frame has transverse mounting frame members (74, 102, 74′, 102′) that are used for mounting the drive assembly in an installation. The mounting frame members (74′, 102′) may have end portions (208, 210, 212, 214, 240, 242) that serve as cells in a trailer installation. The drive units may have a continuous piston-rod (50′) or short piston-rods (50, 50″) that are attached to push-rods (14, 14′). The connection may allow a limited amount of pivotal movement between the push-rod (14′) and the piston-rod (50″).

摘要： A part transporting apparatus comprises: a guiding groove for lining up parts in one row and guiding the parts; a transporting member which is provided at the base of the guiding groove and transports the parts in a forward direction by itself moving forwards and backwards along the groove; and a driving means for reciprocally driving the transporting member in the forward and backward directions; wherein the transporting member is advanced slowly and retracted rapidly, so as to transport the parts forwards. Provided to this arrangement are: a second stopper which operates so as to open and close in the width direction of the guiding groove, and hold the second part from the front of the row of parts; and a movable first stopper which stops the first part at the tip of the guiding groove; wherein the first stopper is moved forwards synchronously with the transporting member immediately prior to completion of the forward movement of the transporting member, thereby separating the first part in the row from the second part. The first stopper retreats following the retreat of the transporting member. Such an arrangement provides for an apparatus for transporting parts, wherein the first part and second part can be separated in a sure manner even in the event that the parts are non-magnetic material, wherein ease of extracting of the first part is facilitated, and wherein parts can be supplied in a sure manner even in the event that an extracting failure occurs.

摘要： A reciprocating discharger for discharging solid materials from the underside of a pile, has at least one reciprocating stoker rod with a piston at one end connected to a piston rod reciprocating in a stationary cylinder which is mounted on a thrust member frame. The frame has a width greater than the length of a piston stroke, so that the piston rod does not extend outside the frame, thus the solid materials in the pile do not contact the piston rod. A hydraulic system is provided for the cylinder with a hydraulic oil reservoir, an integral power unit with an electric motor directly coupled to a variable flow, reversible piston type pump connected in a closed loop hydraulic circuit with the cylinder, and an automatic reverse arrangement to reverse flow of hydraulic oil to the cylinder after each stroke.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus for loading articles, particularly meat articles, into containers. The apparatus comprises two groups of movably mounted beams cantilevered in a direction of article progression. One group of beams is movable in a vertical direction while the other group of beams is movable in a horizontal direction. The movement of the beams is synchronized to provide for article movement in the desired direction. The terminal portions of both sets of beams are unconnected and spaced apart so as to provide a spaced relationship between the group of beams to permit the insertion of a container over the terminal portions of the beams.
