    摘要: A carton feeding system is provided for feeding selected cartons from a stack of cartons contained within a carton magazine to a downstream carton conveyor such as for a product packaging machine. A carton picking device removes a selected carton from the stack of cartons within the magazine, after which the carton is engaged between a carton engaging segment of the primary segment wheel and a draw roller, which pulls the carton from the magazine and feeds the carton along a first path of travel. Thereafter, a secondary segment wheel engages and redirects a leading portion of the carton toward a second path of travel. The carton then is fed along its second path of travel toward engagement between a pair of downstream nip rolls that feed the carton into the downstream carton conveyor.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus by means of which regular articles are fed to an operating station, the articles having handle elements arranged on two opposite sides, in the case of which the successive articles are advanced up in abutment against one another on a moving transporting path, separated one after the other and fed individually, and in time with the operating cycle, to the operating station. It achieves the object of providing the method such that the articles are advanced up in abutment against one another in a stable position and are fed individually, and without being adversely affected, to the operating station in the longitudinal direction.     摘要: A printed circuit (PC) board feed apparatus includes a feed roller arrangement adapted to receive sequentially delivered PC boards and to position the PC boards in lateral edge engaging contact with a pair of aligned, linear support rails. The opposed lateral edges of each of the PC boards are directed by a respective pivoting idler/guide roller into a guide slot in each of the parallel support rails. Once positioned in the spaced, facing guide slots, the PC boards are sequentially engaged and displaced by a pair of pneumatically actuated roller/drive belt assemblies positioned adjacent to the guide slots. A pneumatic cylinder displaces a first plurality of engaging rollers in each roller/drive belt assembly in a timed manner toward and away from an adjacent respective drive roller/belt combination so as to sequentially position each of the PC boards in contact with the pair of roller/drive belt assemblies for sequentially displacing the edge-to-edge arranged PC boards in a stepwise manner. The PC board feed apparatus includes various adjustable controls to allow for high speed displacement and automatic positioning of PC boards having a range of widths as well as for adjustable lateral and vertical positioning of the PC board receiving and discharge portions of the apparatus for precise alignment with PC board supply and receiving apparatus. The PC board feed apparatus further includes a sensor for automatically shutting down the apparatus in the event the PC boards become misaligned or jammed during transport.

    摘要: A supply of logs are successively transferred from an endless deck conveyor to a sawmill carriage by a log transfer rotor and log positioning cradles. The rotor includes a shaft supporting a plurality of axially spaced transfer elements each having diametrically opposed recesses for receiving logs. The log positioning cradles are arranged in parallel relation to the rotor and are supported for vertical movement by corresponding fluid cylinders. The log transfer rotor and deck conveyor are independently driven by corresponding motors which are operated in timed relation by an automatic control system.
