    摘要: Fastening strap composed of a rod having a vertical rectilinear part (20) and a curved part which forms a spring and the end (10) of which grips the flange (25) of the rail to be fastened, after being tensioned as a result of the rotation of the strap above a ramp (30), the lower end of the rectilinear part being equipped with a heel (2) catching on a retaining surface (36) in the tie. The strap has an intermediate bearing point (6) which, during the rotation of the strap, bears on an abutment (38) or on a bearing surface of a metal sole plate. This intermediate bearing point ensures the stability of the strap during its rotation and in its tensioned position and, if an abutment is used, keeps this abutment in place.

    摘要: A baseplate is adapted to be secured to a rail carrier and formed with a groovelike recess adapted to receive a rail foot of said rail and to hold said rail foot against a lateral movement. Two resilient clamping members are disposed on opposite sides of said recess. Each of said clamping members has two downwardly facing, sharp, pressure-exerting edge portions spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of said recess and overlying the same. Pivotal mounting means connect each of said clamping members to said baseplate for pivotal movement about a predetermined axis in response to a predetermined force acting on said pressureexerting edge portions in the longitudinal direction of said recess. Said pivotal mounting means for each of said clamping members comprise a threaded fastener, which is centered on said axis and extends through said clamping member into said baseplate and retains said clamping member on said baseplate. The rail foot is as wide as said recess and has downwardly and laterally outwardly inclined top surfaces on opposite sides. The threaded fasteners force said pressure-exerting edge portions against said inclined top surfaces so that the latter can exert said force on said pressure-exerting edge portions.

    摘要: A tie plate is provided for securing a rail to a railway tie. The tie plate has a base with a tie face opposite a rail face, opposite end faces extending between the tie and the rail faces, a gauge side opposite a field side with said gauge and field sides extending between the opposite end faces and the rail and tie faces. A rail support section runs across the rail face between the opposite end faces and along the gauge and field sides. The tie plate further has a respective clip hold down housing adjacent the rail support section on the field side and the gauge side, each clip hold down housing having a rail abutting face proximal the rail support section and a longitudinally extending receptacle for receiving a spring clip. A respective rail locating shoulder extends from the rail face on either side of the rail support section. Locating ridges extend from the tie face for embedding into a tie. Screw holes extend through the tie plate between the rail and tie faces on the field side and on the gauge side for receiving lag screws to secure the tie plate to the tie. At least one spike hole extends through the tie plate between the tie face and the rail face on each of the field side and the tie side.

The plate element enables the fastening of a rail onto a fixed base, ensuring optimum electrical insulation. This is achieved by a ring element made from a flexibly resilient material sitting in the region of the mouth of the opening associated with the base.
