摘要: A method and apparatus for transporting LNG are provided. A storage container is disclosed including a support frame fixedly attached to at least one top panel, at least one bottom assembly, and a plurality of corrugated side panels, wherein the support frame is externally disposed around the storage container; wherein the support frame is configured to operably engage at least a portion of a hull of a marine vessel; and wherein the storage container is an enclosed, liquid-tight, self-supporting storage container. A method of manufacturing the storage container is also provided.

摘要: A pressure relief valve includes a bonnet threadedly secured to a pressure vessel, a floating device in the pressure vessel, a relief assembly, an actuator secured to the bonnet and communicating with the bonnet, a biasing element put on a stem and biased between a tubular member and a conic member, and a safety valve. The hollow cylinder is slidable in a space defined by the tubular member and a hollow, cylindrical actuating member. The stem is slidably disposed in the tubular member. Pressurized fluid enters a conic opening via an inlet connector, a first channel, a Venturi tube, and a second channel to push the tubular member so as to disengage a latch from a hook to release the pressurized fluid.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a floating ball filling-control device for a cryogenic tank with enhanced structural stability. The floating ball filling-control device comprises a liquid feeding pipe (2) with a liquid discharging end disposed in the liquid storage tank (1), the liquid feeding pipe (2) having liquid spraying holes (3) located on the pipe wall at the top of the pipe, and a slide valve (4) arranged on the top end of the liquid feeding pipe, wherein the slide valve is in a sliding fit with the liquid feeding pipe in a vertical direction via a floating ball lever driving mechanism, and forms an open/close mechanism for the liquid spraying holes via a control mechanism.

The indicator layer is disposed on the outer surface, the indicator layer including a second visual characteristic that visually contrasts with the first visual characteristic. The outer layer is disposed over the indicator layer, the outer layer including a third visual characteristic that visually contrasts with the second visual characteristic. The first intermediate layer is positioned between the indicator layer and the outer layer, the first intermediate layer being visually transparent or translucent. The disclosure also describes a coating including an indicator layer, an outer layer, and a first intermediate layer.

The wall thickness of the vessel (in meters) multiplied by a design strength of the material from which the vessel is made (in megapascals) is less than 0.8 times the internal diameter of the vessel (in meters). The design strength is the yield strength divided by 1.5 or the tensile strength divided by 2.5. The wall thickness is between 3 mm and 11 mm. The diameter is between 1 and 2.6 m. The vessel have have an external insulating and fire resistant cladding. It may also have a cooling plant for cooling the LPG.
