摘要: A gas cylinder cart includes a frame, a first control assembly composed of a first control panel wall and a first gas distribution assembly, a second control assembly composed of a second control panel wall and a second gas distribution assembly, and a central manifold connected to each of the first and second control assemblies. The central manifold includes a valve assembly allowing for connection of both the first and second control assemblies to gas cylinders, connection of only one of the first and second control assemblies to gas cylinders, or connection of the first and/or second control assemblies to remote gas sources. Inclusion of the first and second control assemblies within the gas cylinder cart allows for use of the gas cylinder cart in conjunction with different systems that might require different control assemblies.

摘要: The invention relates to a valve block (1) for a pressurised gas cylinder (20) comprising: an inner gas passage (2) providing fluid connection between a gas inlet opening (10) and a gas outlet opening (11); a gas monitoring system (3) arranged on the inner gas passage (2), making it possible to monitor and/or adjust the flow of gas circulating in said inner gas passage (2); a system for selecting and/or adjusting the flow of gas, comprising a movable operating member (4) which can be actuated by the user and engages with the gas monitoring system (3) in order to monitor and/or adjust the flow of gas exiting via the gas outlet opening (11); an electronic control system (7, 7′, 8) making it possible to control an actuator device (5); an actuator device (5) capable of controlling the movement of a mobile mechanical member (6) in response to a control signal output by the electronic control system (7, 7′, 8); and a mobile mechanical member (6) acting on the operating member (4) of the system for selecting and/or adjusting the flow of gas, in response to an actuation by the actuator device (5), such as to block or release the mobile operating member (4). The invention also relates to a gas distribution assembly comprising a gas cylinder (20) provided with a valve block (1) according to the invention, protected by a protective cover arranged around at least one portion of said valve block (1).

摘要: Embodiments are directed to compressed gas storage units exhibiting one or more safety features. Particular embodiments employ a pressure relief mechanism to rapidly yet safely vent the contents of the tank in the event of a fire. The mechanism may comprise an internally piloted relief valve in communication with temperature-sensitive element(s) present along the tank dimensions. Under high temperature conditions indicative of a fire, the element communicates a signal to open the internally piloted relief valve. In some embodiments the element is configured to communicate a heat signal (e.g., by thermal conduction). In certain embodiments the element is configured to communicate a pressure change signal (e.g., pneumatic, hydraulic). In other embodiments the element may communicate different signal types, such as electric (e.g., thermoelectric) or mechanical (e.g., shear or tension forces). Also disclosed is a module incorporating a plurality of tanks to offer enhanced storage capacity.

The compressed air system may comprise an air compressor having an inlet, an inlet valve configured to regulate a flow of air to the inlet of the air compressor, a reservoir configured to store compressed air generated by the air compressor, and a reservoir pressure sensor configured to monitor an actual reservoir pressure of the compressed air stored in the reservoir. The system may further comprise an electronic control system configured to regulate a position of the inlet valve. The electronic control system may include an electronic control module (ECM) in electronic communication with the reservoir pressure sensor and an electronic actuator operatively associated with the inlet valve to adjust the position of the inlet valve.

摘要: A system and method for maintaining overpressure in a logging unit or other pressurized space through interruptions is disclosed. A backup air supply comprising tanks mounted to a frame is operatively connected to the ambient environment of the logging unit through a valve assembly which also connects a conventional pressure setup (e.g., pumps and filters from the external environment). The valve assembly comprises two auto valves, a shuttle valve, and a pressure sensor that allow the logging unit to switch from the conventional external air supply to the tanks when the pressure detected from the conventional air supply falls below a predetermined level. The valve assembly is independently housed and may be mounted or detached from the frame housing the backup tanks.
