摘要: A variable orifice flow meter system includes a housing defining a flow passage and at least one plate extending into the flow passage and defining an orifice. The at least one plate is movably supported such that a size of the orifice may be adjusted. Upstream and downstream pressure sensors may measure fluid pressures upstream and downstream of the orifice and a drive mechanism may move the at least one plate. A controller may instruct the drive mechanism to move the at least one the plate such that a predetermined orifice size is defined in response to detecting an upstream pressure within a predetermined pressure range, determine a pressure differential across the orifice and calculate a flow rate through the flow passage based on the pressure differential when the pressure differential meets a predetermined threshold.

摘要: A water heater control system comprising an energy storage system electrically connected to a pilot valve operator and electrically isolated from a main valve operator. The energy storage system may be electrically connected to an ignition circuit. A thermoelectric device is in thermal communication with the pilot flame and electrically connected to a main valve operator. The water heater system may include a microcontroller configured to establish electrical communications between the device and the energy storage system, the pilot valve operator, and the main valve operator. The microcontroller may be configured to recognize a call for main burner operation, and may also be configured to check an available voltage of the energy storage system against a setpoint. The microcontroller may establish pilot flame operation with or without main burner operation, depending on whether a call for heat or recharging of the energy storage system is required.

The gas furnace includes: a fuel valve; a manifold providing a passage of fuel passing through the fuel valve; a plurality of burners provided to burn fuel provided from the manifold and spaced apart from each other in one direction; a plurality of heat exchangers providing a passage of combustion gas generated by the plurality of burners; and a blower for causing a flow of air passing around the heat exchanger. The manifold includes: a first tube having one end connected to the fuel valve and forming a first passage; a second tube extending in the one direction, forming a second passage, and facing at least one of the plurality of burners; a third tube extending in the one direction, forming a third passage, and facing remaining burners of the plurality of burners; and a three-way valve connected to the first tube, the second tube, and the third tube.

The gas enters the cavity of the valve body connector through the regulator, and enters the air inlet pipe through the valve nozzle.
