摘要: An agricultural seeder (10) for research plots includes a front gang (21) of planting units (22) and a rear gang (23) of planting units (24) spaced a distance behind the front gang. Metering systems (14) are provided for metering seed to the planting units (22, 24) of the front and rear gangs (21, 23). A tripping system (27) is used to start and stop the seed metering systems (14) and to change seed between plots while planting. A programmable logic controller (28) is programmed with the distance between the front and rear gangs (21, 23) and is used to delay the tripping of the metering system (26) for the rear gang (23) relative to the metering system (25) for the front gang (21) until the seeder (10) has traveled the distance (L) between the front and rear gangs (21, 23). The delayed tripping for the rear gang (23) keeps the planted rows and alleyways created by the front gang planting units (22) laterally aligned with those created by the rear gang planting units (24).

摘要: A system includes a variable displacement pump (VDP) in fluid communication with an inlet line and with an outlet line. A bypass valve (BPV) includes a BPV inlet in fluid communication with the outlet line, and a BPV outlet in fluid communication with a bypass line that feeds into the inlet line upstream of the VDP. An actuator is operatively connected to control the BPV to vary flow from the BPV inlet to the bypass line. A flow sensing valve (FSV) is connected in the outlet line. The FSV includes a sensor configured to generate sensor data indicative of flow out of the outlet line. A controller operatively connected to the actuator to control recirculation flow passed through the BPV based on the sensor data and based on a predetermined low threshold of flow through the VDP.

When the control device determines that the flow is not in the transient flow state, it controls the movement of the valve body on the basis of the opening command, and when the control determines that the flow is in the transient flow state, it controls the movement of the valve body on the basis of the target flow rate value.

摘要: A first valve of a manifold for a fluid distribution system (“FDS”) regulates fluid flow to a first fluid handling device (“FHD”). A second valve of the manifold may communicate with a second FHD, reservoir, or recirculation line. A target flow condition for the manifold may be determined by a manifold control system (“MCS”) based on a device setting received from the first FHD. The MCS may determine an operation of the FDS based on the target flow condition, fluid flowrate, and supply device operational state. The operation may include the MCS controlling the supply device, first valve, and/or second valve to change the flowrate. The MCS may continuously operate a valve to maintain the target flow condition once exhibited. Fluid distribution systems, systems and methods for turning over an FDS including a manifold, and systems and methods for controlling operations of an FDS including multiple manifolds are also provided.

The opening-degree regulating unit determines a difference between a detected flowrate detected by the detecting unit and a planned flowrate in the course of achieving the target flowrate, the planned flowrate corresponding to the detected flowrate and being defined by the flowrate change velocity and the number of detection executed by the detecting unit.
