    摘要: A twist lock attachment mechanism for attaching a cross flame tube to a cross flame tube port that is part of a combustor basket in a combustion section of a gas turbine engine, where the cross flame tube includes opposing flange sections coupled to an end of the cross flame tube and being spaced apart from each other. The attachment mechanism includes an annular collar mounted to the cross flame tube port and first and second spaced apart flange extensions mounted to the annular collar, where each flange extension includes a slot open at one end and blocked at an opposite end. The flange sections of the cross flame tube are positioned between the flange extensions so that the flange sections align with the slots, and the cross flame tube is rotated in a manner that causes the flange sections to slide into the slots.

    摘要: A gas turbine combustor is disposed in a casing interior space of a gas turbine. A combustor basket of the combustor is formed into a cylindrical shape by abutting ends of a curved panel member and welding the ends together along a welding line 16. A communication tube is provided for communication between an interior space of the combustor basket and an interior space of a combustor basket of an adjacent combustor. The position of the welding line of the combustor basket coincides with a connection position for connecting the communication tube to the combustor basket. A cooling air hole is disposed in the communication tube or in the combustor basket in the vicinity of the communication tube to introduce cooling air from the casing interior space 9 to the interior of the combustor basket.

A movable arm may be positioned proximate to a first end of the elongated body, and the movable arm may be configured to engage a surface of the first combustor when the elongated body is placed within the tubular structure. A drive member may be accessible near a second end of the elongated body, and the drive member may be configured to rotate within the elongated body and to drive the movable arm along a longitudinal axis of the elongated body toward the second end to separate the tubular structure from the second combustor.

The fuel nozzle includes a forward face, an aft face downstream from the forward face and adjacent to the combustion zone, a plurality of mixing tubes extending between the forward face and the aft face, an outer sleeve positioned radially outward of the plurality of mixing tubes, a heat shield positioned radially inward of the outer sleeve, and a baffle plate between the forward face and the aft face. At least one of the plurality of mixing tubes includes a sidewall that includes an injection opening defined therethrough. The baffle plate is oriented to channel fuel between the plurality of mixing tubes and between the baffle plate and the aft face prior to the fuel being channeled through the injection opening.

    摘要: A combustion duct for a gas turbine engine has a combustion liner to receive products of combustion, and deliver the products of combustion downstream toward a turbine rotor. An outer housing is positioned radially outwardly of the combustion liner. A flow sleeve is positioned radially intermediate the outer housing and the combustion liner. A chamber radially outwardly of the flow sleeve receives cooling air. A plurality of holes through the flow sleeve deliver cooling air from the chamber against an outer periphery of the combustion liner. A plurality of tabs are associated with at least some of the holes in the flow sleeve. The tabs are positioned to extend radially inwardly on a downstream side of the holes.
