摘要: Systems and methods for containing fluid splash include using a fluid flow spaced from a vessel and/or fluid surface to effectively trap materials from a fluid stream flowing through the fluid flow. The fluid flow creates a spray envelope in connection with the fluid surface and/or vessel and substantially prevents droplets of the fluid stream from exiting the vessel. The fluid flow is created by allowing a supply fluid to flow through a nozzle oriented to cast a spray pattern into the vessel and/or into contact with the fluid surface. The fluid flow may be selectively activated and deactivated and/or be automatically (e.g., light or motion) activated and deactivated.

摘要: The invention relates to nozzle tips including a nozzle body and a tip portion, configured to minimize the accumulation of a resin on the nozzle tip as it is dispensed through the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can contain a central flow channel and an internal portion that branches and guides the resin into multiple exiting flow channels that define tangential pathways to the outer surface of the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can include grooves that define extended, sharply angled flow paths for the resin.
Nozzle tips can have a neck portion separating a nozzle body and a tip end of the nozzle tip; here, a doughnut-shaped space located around the neck portion can be defined by the base of the nozzle, the crown of the nozzle, and the neck portion, for encouraging turbulent flow of the resin to scour the nozzle tip during dispensing.-

摘要: There is disclosed a valve assembly for washing cameras or sensors of an autonomous vehicle. The valve assembly includes a single fluid injector having a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a fluid passage in fluid communication with the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A cup is disposed over an upstream portion of the fluid injector, relative to a direction of fluid flow through the fluid injector. A lower housing is disposed over and surrounds a downstream portion of the fluid injector, relative to the direction of fluid flow therethrough. A bracket member extends from the lower housing. The bracket member is configured for connecting to an anchor member for attachment within the autonomous vehicle. In this way, the valve assembly may be easily secured within a vehicle for providing a desired amount of fluid to the lens of the vehicle camera or sensor.
