摘要: A process for the synthesis of branched graft polymers comprises acylating a first polymer and grafting thereto a second polymer, the second polymer having reactive groups capable of being bound to the acyl groups on the first polymer. The acylation and grafting steps can be repeated to produce graft polymers having a dendritic architecture. The invention also provides polymers produced by the above process, which may be simple branched (comb) polymers, or dendritic polymers.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for preparing a reaction product (RP) which is functionalized by groups containing halogen or sulfonyl chloride by reaction of at least one free-radically polymerizable monomer, at least one compound of the formula (I), at least one free-radical initiator and at least one free-radically polymerizable monomer containing halogen or sulfonyl chloride groups under free-radical conditions, and to a reaction product (RP) which can be prepared by the process of the present invention and to the use of the reaction product (RP) as macroinitiator for the preparation of graft copolymers. Furthermore the invention relates to a process for preparing graft copolymers by reaction of the reaction product (RP) with at least one suitable monomer and to graft copolymers which can be prepared by the process of the present invention and also to the use of the graft copolymers of the present invention.

摘要: This invention relates to a multistep process for evaporating polymer solutions of thermoplastic polymers and for removing volatile constituents from thermoplastic polymers by indirect heat exchange. The invention relates in particular to a process for evaporating volatile constituents out of polymer solutions using shell-and-tube heat exchangers having a special geometry, coiled-tube evaporators and extrusion evaporators.
