摘要: An emergency entry control system which is particularly adaptable for use with double panic doors typically found in schools, movie theaters, and other public facilities. The system includes a base, connecting bracket, and engagement means designed to be removably secured to the top latching mechanism and/or bottom latching mechanism of a conventional double panic door configuration to prevent double panic doors without a center bar from being opened from the outside. The system is rotated manually to permit the panic doors to operate normally. The system can also be modified with wireless and audio technology to effectuate audible and visual notification and facilitate location and communication during emergency situations like an unauthorized attempt at entry or removal of the system.

摘要: Means are provided for retaining fire doors in the open position against the action of the spring or other automatic door closers, with remote control release which can be actuated if a fire is detected. In use, one part thereof is mounted on the wall and has gripper means for engagement with another part which is mounted on the door. The wall-mounted part also includes release means spring-biased into a first position in which operation of the gripper means is inhibited and pneumatically operated means for holding the release means in a second position in which operation of the gripper means is not inhibited.

摘要: In order to secure a door in a locked (or locked open) position without a key, such as to resist a forced entry through the door, a removable, remotely-controlled door locking apparatus is provided, which includes a housing configured for temporary fixed engagement to a portion of the door. The housing has a front facing surface sloped forward and downward at an angle from horizontal as taken from a top to a bottom of the apparatus, and an actuator arranged therein so as to be substantially parallel to the sloping front facing surface between upper and lower ends thereof. The apparatus may further include a movable foot attached to the actuator and configured, under actuator control, to be extended in a lock state against a floor surface to secure the door or retracted in an unlock state, based on a wireless signal received from a remote smart device.

摘要: The invention relates to a locking device comprising a first and a second locking part (2, 4), wherein the second locking part (4), when the locking parts (2, 4) are brought together, moves in relation to the first locking part (2) in a locking direction (L). The first locking part (2) comprises a locking member (2b), comprising a magnet, and a locking member holder (2a), which supports the locking member (2b) without the locking member (2b) being fixed to the locking member holder (2a). The second locking part (4) comprises an actuating part (4b), the locking member (2b) comprises a contact part (2y). Once the actuating part (4b), when moving in the locking direction (L), has passed the contact part (2y), the contact part (2y) moves into the path of the actuating part (4b), so that the locking member (2b), through bearing contact against the locking member holder (2a) and against the actuating part (4b), can prevent movement of the second locking part (4) in a direction opposite to the locking direction (L). When a force generated by a magnetic field is acted upon by the magnet, the contact part (2y) moves out of the path of the actuating part (4b).

摘要: A door holder which is mounted on the top portion of a door frame has a controlled shaft adapted to be integrally secured to an arm of a door closer on the door, replacing the usual simple pivot on the frame. A holder lever having a considerable length rotates with the shaft and may be engaged by detent cam surfaces on a pivoted latch lever for holding the door when an electromagnet applies pressure to the latch lever. The latch lever is somewhat longer than the holder lever, and a preferred angle of the detent cam surfaces is 3* relatively to the holder lever, enabling the electromagnet to act with moderate pressure to hold the door but yielding to permit manual closing of the door. Particularly, the detent surfaces of the latch lever have reversed shapes for holding the holder lever against movement in each direction, being effective to hold the door in two positions selectively when the holder shaft is connected to a type of door closer having an arm that reverses its motion during a single closing movement of the door.

摘要: A retractable stopper, for example a door stopper, includes a tilting element that is rotatably supported about a rotation axis and that can be moved from a retracted position into a blocking position by the action of at least one trigger magnet, which is fastened to a moving object, and in said blocking position blocks the movement of the moving object. The tilting element includes a front lever, on which a preferably elastic buffer element is disposed. In the blocking position, the buffer element faces the moving object. A stopper magnet is disposed at the tilting element. As the trigger magnet approaches a vicinity region in front of the stopper, the tilting element can be rotated out of the retracted position into the blocking position due to the action of the trigger magnet on the stopper magnet before the trigger magnet is located above the tilting element.
