摘要： An electronic lock assembly includes a latch assembly with a bolt along a first axis and a drive shaft extending along a second axis. The drive shaft selectively rotatable around the second axis to drive the movement of the bolt. A first assembly includes a wiring harness having a first connector extending therefrom. A second assembly is coupled to the drive shaft and includes a second connector configured to receive the first connector. The second assembly includes a housing having a surface configured to face a door when the housing is mounted to the door and a recess is defined within the surface. A connector holder clip is pivotably supporting the second connector and disposed at least partially within the recess. The second connector being movable between at least a first position whereby the second connector is parallel to the second axis and a different second position.

摘要： A lock unit of an electric locking device comprises a lock housing, a keeper, an inhibitor and a latch bolt. A second end of the latch bolt is positioned outwardly and cooperates with the inhibitor when in a locked orientation. The keeper includes a keeper shaft having a shaft axis of rotation, wherein said keeper is rotatable about said keeper shaft between first and second rotational positions, wherein the keeper is movable between first and second directional positions relative to the lock housing, wherein the movement between the first and second directional positions is generally linear, wherein when the keeper is held in the first rotational position and the first directional position by the inhibitor, the door is secured to the door frame, and wherein when the keeper is in the second rotational position and the second directional position, the door is allowed to move away from said door frame.

摘要： The present invention provides an improved electric lock that allows for electrically controlled retraction of latch bolt to allow for opening of the door in which the lock is installed. The components that allow for retraction are primarily internal to the lock and have means for conducting electrical signals to the lock to allow for remote control of the latch retraction. In some embodiments, the locks comprise an electrically controllable actuator and at least one retraction lever configured to retract the latch bolt against an applied bias. The actuator can be configured with various other internal components such that movement of the other internal components in one direction, such as toward the actuator, causes movement of the latch bolt in the opposite direction, such as away from the actuator. This opposing movement can allow for different electrical arrangements within different locks having relatively small internal spaces.

The lock is configured to be moved between a latched position and an unlatched position while the lock is in the unlocked state, the fixture configured to be accessed in the unlatched position, and the strike plate is configured to move relative to the lock to align the lock with the strike plate when the lock is moved from the unlatched position to the latched position.

摘要： An electronic key may include a partial capacitor comprising a capacitive metal plate in communication with a processor. The capacitive metal plate of the partial capacitor is configured to form a capacitor with a corresponding capacitive metal plate of a lock when brought into proximity with the metal plate of the lock. Data may be transferred from the key to the lock using a capacitor formed by combining the two metal plates, wherein a common ground is established between the metal plate of the key and the metal plate of the lock through a parasitic capacitance present between the key and lock circuitry. Audit trail data may be recorded based on usage of the key.
