Abstract: A tubular-type deadbolt door lock with an edge bolt for detecting a door lock status is disclosed. To this end, the present disclosure includes: a deadbolt guide case having a predetermined length and having a space therein; a deadbolt case installed at a front portion in the deadbolt guide case and having a predetermined space therein; a tubular deadbolt case coupled to surround an outer circumferential surface of a front portion of the deadbolt case; an edge bolt positioned in the tubular deadbolt case, positioned under the deadbolt case, having a pair of rods at an end, and having spring wound on the rods, respectively; a base fitted on a lower portion of the tubular deadbolt case, and a sensor positioned over the base and sensing movement of edge bolt.

Abstract: A cooler and freezer access control system locks a cooler or freezer when occurrence of an event is detected that requires limiting access to the inside of the cooler or freezer. Examples of such events include the loss of power to the cooler or freezer for a predetermined period of time, the opening of the cooler or freezer door for longer than an allowed time, the loss of functionality of a temperature probe and others. In an embodiment, a service mode is supported wherein the door is left unlocked despite the occurrence of such an event, to allow a stocker or other personnel to leave the cooler or freezer door open while stocking the cooler or freezer with product.

Abstract: A device and method for dispensing a friction-coefficient-optimizing mixture of at least one lubricant and at least one grit into the gap between a rail wheel of a rail vehicle and a rail. The device includes a reservoir for the lubricant, a reservoir for the grit, a metering unit for metering the lubricant, a metering unit for metering the grit, a delivery apparatus for delivering the lubricant, a delivery apparatus for delivering the grit, and a common dispensing nozzle. The apparatus for delivering the lubricant and the apparatus for delivering the grit are separate from each other and end in the common dispensing nozzle, the friction-coefficient-optimizing mixture therefore not being formed until the dispensing, and an additional compressed air line is provided, which ends in the common dispensing nozzle.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of a tapered bolt receiver for a door lock to accommodate misalignment, between a deadbolt mounted to a door, and an opposing jamb. The tapered bolt receiver can be configured to accommodate misalignment for a deadbolt having a non-tapered bolt, such as for an electromechanical smart lock having a battery stored within a battery compartment that is integrated with an enhanced bolt. Also disclosed are embodiments of a deadbolt plate pivot assembly that is pivotably mountable to a corresponding deadbolt assembly to define a plate pivot system, to accommodate a beveled door edge. An illustrative embodiment of the deadbolt plate pivot assembly includes opposing plate that captures a hinge assembly, which can include plastic plate hinges, which serve to locate the deadbolt plate pivot assembly with respect to a corresponding bolt housing, and can provide a spring force and/or constant torque when mounted to a beveled door.

After the package is placed thereon, the placement table 22 is moved to the lowered position from the raised position, and subsequently the lid member 32 is moved to the closing position from the opening position, whereby the package placed on the placement table 22 is housed inside the casing 12.

Abstract: A building security assembly includes a vestibule that may be attached to an entrance of an institution and the vestibule has an entrance and an exit. A first door is hingedly coupled to the vestibule to open and close the entrance. A second door is hingedly coupled to the vestibule to open and close the exit. A metal detection array is positioned within the vestibule to detect metal components of a firearm. A security unit is coupled to the vestibule and is in electrical communication with the metal detection array. The security unit locks each of the first and second doors when the metal detection array detects the metal components of the firearm to inhibit the individual from bringing the firearm into the institution.
