    摘要: A system and method for detecting blank modules includes an information handling system including at least one computing component, a modular chassis, a management module, and one or more sensors. The modular chassis includes one or more slots where each slot is operable to receive either the computing module or a blank module. The computing module interfaces with the management module whereby the management module is operable to detect the presence of one or more of the computing modules in one or more of the slots. The sensors are associated with each of the slots and detect if one or more of the blank modules are installed in one or more of the slots. In addition, the sensors provide an indication to a user when one or more of the slots are empty and do contain neither a computing module or a blank module.

    摘要: A cam groove provided in a chassis is furnished with a first cam portion permitting an eject button to move only forward from being depressed, and a second cam portion permitting the button to shift between its depressed and protruding states. A slide unit interlocks with a switching lever spring-urged toward a push-out plate and moves away from a recording-medium travel path by being pushed by a recording medium when plugged into the chassis. In standby, the switching lever interlocks with the first cam portion, advancing into the travel path. With a recording medium bieng plugged into the chassis, by the eject button being pushed a first time the switching lever withdraws from the travel path and shifts into the second cam portion, permitting the eject button to protrude backward. By the eject button being pushed a second time, the push-out plate and slide unit are put into cooperation.

    摘要: A module carrier of computer comprises a tray, a transmission apparatus, a pushing arm, and a spring sheet. The transmission apparatus comprises a lever, a lever arm, and a fastening bolt. The tray is employed to carry the module of computer. The transmission apparatus is employed to release the fastened status of the tray, wherein the lever is employed to start the module carrier of computer so as to perform the ejection motion of the module of computer; the lever arm is employed to provide the transmission action and one end of the lever arm is joined to the lever; and the fastening bolt is employed to fasten the tray and its one end joins to the lever arm. The pushing arm is employed to push and eject the tray. The spring sheet is attached to the pushing arm for providing the needed spring force for ejecting the tray. After a user operates the lever, the lever arm will rotate and the fastening bolt will move to release the fastened status of the tray, and then the spring sheet provides a spring force to the pushing arm enabling the pushing arm to push and eject the tray.

The universal media module is removable from the storage array.
